The 11th Lord for Taurus Ascendant: Jupiter
11th house = Pisces · lord Jupiter · also lord of the 8th
With Taurus rising, the 11th house is Pisces, the 11th sign counted from Taurus, and Pisces is ruled by Jupiter. So for Taurus ascendant the 11th lord is Jupiter, which also rules the 8th through Sagittarius: one graha holds the 11th and the 8th together for this ascendant. The 11th is an upachaya, and the 8th a dusthana.
The lagna lord, Venus, counts Jupiter neutral, while Jupiter counts Venus an enemy: for Taurus ascendant the 1st and 11th lords do not see each other the same way. The 11th’s matters are income and gains, friends and networks, aspirations and elder siblings; with Taurus rising they sit in Pisces, a dual water sign that is the 12th of the natural zodiac.
