Capricorn Ascendant: The Twelve Houses and Their Lords
The houses here are whole signs. With Capricorn rising, Capricorn is the 1st house, Aquarius the 2nd, and so on round to Sagittarius as the 12th; the lord of each house is the ruler of its sign. That makes Saturn the lagna lord, and it sets which graha holds which pair of houses for every Capricorn-rising chart, before a single planet’s position is known.
