Libra Ascendant: The Twelve Houses and Their Lords
The houses here are whole signs. With Libra rising, Libra is the 1st house, Scorpio the 2nd, and so on round to Virgo as the 12th; the lord of each house is the ruler of its sign. - Sun: the 11th.
- Moon: the 10th.
- Mars: the 2nd and 7th.
- Mercury: the 9th and 12th.
- Jupiter: the 3rd and 6th.
- Venus: the 1st and 8th.
- Saturn: the 4th and 5th.
For Libra ascendant Saturn (the 4th and 5th) holds a kendra and a trikona other than the 1st together. The three dusthanas, the 6th, 8th and 12th, are held by Mercury, Jupiter and Venus. Rahu and Ketu lord no house in this scheme for any ascendant.
