Cancer Rashifal April 2027 (Kark Rashi): Jupiter Stands Still on Your Own Sign — Fourteen Arc-Minutes in Thirty Days

Published 2026-08-21 | Live Pandit Ji

Here is the most unusual number in the April 2027 ephemeris. Jupiter is exalted on Kark Rashi, and across the whole of April it moves from 23°00′ of Cancer to 23°14′ — a net fourteen arc-minutes in thirty days. It dips to 22°45′ at its station on the 13th and recovers from there, so its total range for the month is twenty-nine arc-minutes. All of it inside the second pada of Ashlesha.

A planet that barely moves is a planet whose effect does not change. For a Cancer that means the most benevolent transit available — an exalted Jupiter on your own Moon sign — is neither building nor fading through April. It is simply present, in one place, for the whole month. It turns direct at 7:58 am on Tuesday 13 April, which is the moment it stops undoing and starts, very slowly, adding.

Two other bodies share your rashi. Ketu is there, moving backwards from 23°51′ to 22°16′, and Jupiter is exact with it on Tuesday 20 April at 22°50′ — the second such contact of the year, the first having fallen on Monday 1 March. And Mars, debilitated in Cancer since 10 March, turns direct at 7:42 pm on Thursday 1 April and finally leaves at 11:28 am on Monday 26 April. For the last five days of the month your first house holds only Jupiter and Ketu.

The Debilitated Mars Leaves on 26 April

This is the month’s practical relief. Mars has been on Kark Rashi — the sign of its debilitation — since 10 March, and retrograde for most of that time. A debilitated retrograde Mars on the Moon sign is the least comfortable position it takes: irritability that has no object, effort that produces friction rather than progress, and a physical restlessness that reads as either inflammation or insomnia depending on the person.

It improves in two steps. At 7:42 pm on Thursday 1 April it turns direct at 26°41′, so from the first evening of the month it stops working backwards. Then it moves very slowly — a planet just out of station covers little ground — until it crosses into Leo at 11:28 am on Monday 26 April, entering Magha. From that morning Mars is out of debilitation and in your second house of family, savings and speech.

Read the second-house arrival honestly: it is better for you than the first house was, but Mars in the second is sharp speech and money spent quickly. The last five days of April are calmer in the body and more expensive in the wallet.

Jupiter Exact with Ketu, Again

Jupiter and Ketu sharing a degree is the configuration called Guru-Chandal, and for Kark Rashi it happens on your own sign. April’s exact contact is on Tuesday 20 April at 22°50′ of Cancer, in Ashlesha pada 2, and it is the second of the year — the first was on 1 March at 25°27′.

What the pairing does is complicate good fortune rather than remove it. Jupiter exalted on the Moon sign should produce confidence, respect, good counsel and an easy relationship with teachers and elders. Ketu on the same degree makes all of that feel oddly unearned — advice arrives but you do not want it, respect arrives but does not land, and there is a persistent sense that the thing going well is not the thing you care about. It is a transit of detachment from your own luck.

The useful response is neither to force it nor to dismiss it. Jupiter leaves Cancer on 26 June 2027, and between now and then this is the strongest planetary support your chart will have for years. Take the opportunity even if it does not feel like yours. The two Mondays around the 19th are the ones on which to accept help rather than to decline it.

The Ninth House Carries the Month’s Weather

Pisces is your ninth house — dharma, the father, the teacher, long journeys, higher study — and it is where almost everything happens in April. Saturn holds it all month, direct, crossing from the second pada of Revati into the third. The Sun is there until 3:23 pm on Wednesday 14 April. Mercury arrives debilitated at 4:13 pm on Monday 5 April. And the New Moon forms there at 5:21 am on Wednesday 7 April at 22°42′, under a degree from Saturn.

Two exact contacts land in that house. The Sun meets Saturn at 10:48 pm on Wednesday 7 April at 23°26′, and Mercury meets Saturn at 6:33 pm on Monday 19 April at 24°55′. Sun with Saturn in the ninth is a father or a teacher being distant, disapproving or simply unavailable; Mercury debilitated with Saturn there is a document about a journey, a course or a legal matter going wrong on a technicality.

Venus arrives exalted at 3:16 pm on Thursday 15 April and holds the ninth for the rest of the month, which is the repair. Exalted Venus in the ninth is the good version of that house: travel that is a pleasure, a teacher who is generous, a belief that comforts rather than obliges. The second fortnight is where a Cancer reader should plan any journey, course or ceremony.

Sixteen Open Days, and Your Chandra Days Inside Them

Meena Kharmas ends on 14 April, when the Sun leaves Pisces. From 15 April to 30 April every day is open — sixteen consecutive days, the longest unbroken open stretch April 2027 could have produced.

The Moon rules Kark Rashi, so the Moon’s own transit of your sign matters more to you than to any other reader. It runs from 5:12 am on Wednesday 14 April to 8:18 am on Friday 16 April — two of those three days inside the open stretch, and the window begins on the same day Kharmas ends. That is the best forty-eight hours in April for a Cancer to begin anything: your ruling planet on your own sign, exalted Jupiter beside it, and the calendar open. Our griha pravesh page for April 2027 works the day-by-day arithmetic, and the child samskaras page covers the rites for a child.

Week by Week

Thirty days, Thursday to Friday. The Moon rules Kark Rashi, so Monday is your day of the week, and there are four: 5, 12, 19 and 26 April — and the 19th and the 26th both carry an exact event.

1–7 April

Mars turns direct on your own sign at 7:42 pm on Thursday the 1st — the month’s first improvement and the least visible one. Mercury enters your ninth house debilitated at 4:13 pm on Monday the 5th, and the New Moon forms there at 5:21 am on Wednesday the 7th. Kharmas is running. A week for closing rather than beginning, and for not starting an argument with a parent.

8–14 April

The week opens the morning after the Sun met Saturn in your ninth house — 10:48 pm on Wednesday the 7th, the flattest point of the month. Rahu changes nakshatra in your seventh on the evening of Saturday the 10th. Then two good things in two days: exalted Jupiter turns direct on your own sign at 7:58 am on Tuesday the 13th, and the Moon reaches Kark Rashi at 5:12 am on Wednesday the 14th, the same day the Sun enters your tenth at 3:23 pm and Kharmas ends.

15–21 April

The month’s best week. Your Chandra days run to the morning of Friday the 16th, every day from the 15th is open, and exalted Venus enters your ninth at 3:16 pm on Thursday the 15th. Monday the 19th is the exception: Mercury is exact with Saturn in your ninth at 6:33 pm, and Jupiter is exact with Ketu on your own sign early on Tuesday the 20th, which makes that evening one to spend quietly. The Full Moon fills your fourth house at 3:57 am on Wednesday the 21st, so home and the mother come to the centre of that week.

22–30 April

Mercury enters your tenth house at 8:10 am on Thursday the 22nd, out of debilitation, joining the exalted Sun — the best career window of the month, and it closes on the 28th. Mars leaves your sign at 11:28 am on Monday the 26th and the physical restlessness of the last seven weeks lifts. The Sun and Mercury are exact in your tenth at 2:51 am on Thursday the 29th, so make the professional case before that Wednesday rather than after it.

Career and Money for Kark Rashi

Your tenth house is Aries, and it is empty until the middle of the month. The exalted Sun enters it at 3:23 pm on Wednesday 14 April and Mercury at 8:10 am on Thursday 22 April, and the two are exact at 2:51 am on Thursday 29 April at 14°08′. An exalted Sun in the tenth is the best career transit the Sun offers — visibility, authority, and a senior noticing you — and it starts exactly when Kharmas ends.

So the professional shape of April is the opposite of the personal one: nothing in the first fortnight, everything in the second. The window is 22 to 27 April — Sun and Mercury both in your tenth, both strong, every day open, and before the two share a degree on the 29th. Saturn enters that same tenth house on 3 June 2027, which will make career heavier and more consequential for two and a half years, so what you set up in late April matters more than usual.

Money is quieter. Your second house is empty until Mars arrives on the 26th; your eleventh house, Taurus, is empty all month and nothing enters it. The genuine financial support is exalted Jupiter on your own sign, which does not produce income directly but does produce the confidence and the goodwill that lead to it. See our financial remedies page for the standing observances.

Home, Family and Partnership

The Full Moon forms in your fourth house at 3:57 am on Wednesday 21 April at 6°24′ of Libra, in the fourth pada of Chitra, and the Moon is on Libra from 4:31 pm on the 20th to 11:16 pm on the 22nd. The fourth house is home, mother and peace of mind — for a Cancer, the most personally loaded house after the first. A Full Moon there brings a domestic matter to full visibility: a decision about a property, the mother’s health, or simply the accumulated state of the household becoming impossible to ignore.

Handle it in the week after the 21st rather than in the moment. Mars is still on your sign until the 26th, and a Full Moon in the fourth with a debilitated Mars in the first is the configuration most likely to turn a reasonable domestic conversation into a disproportionate one.

Partnership sits in Capricorn, your seventh house, which holds Rahu all month. Rahu in the seventh is a partner who is hard to read, an arrangement that is unconventional, or an attraction that does not withstand daylight. At 5:53 pm on Saturday 10 April Rahu backs out of Dhanishta into Shravana, which is the first change in that transit’s texture in months. Shravana is the listening star: the second half of April is better spent finding out what the other person actually wants than deciding what they mean.

Health

The first house is the body, and it has carried a debilitated Mars since 10 March. That is the month’s health story and it resolves on a date: 11:28 am on Monday 26 April. Between the 1st and the 26th expect the same low-grade inflammation, disturbed sleep and short fuse that March produced, easing gradually as Mars turns direct on the 1st and moves off its station.

Exalted Jupiter on the same sign is genuinely protective, and it is worth saying that plainly: the best planet in the zodiac, at its own maximum strength, standing on your Moon sign is why the Mars transit has been uncomfortable rather than serious. Your Chandra days from 5:12 am on Wednesday 14 April to 8:18 am on Friday 16 April are the month’s best window for beginning any regimen, and they sit two days after Jupiter turns direct.

Remedies for Kark Rashi in April 2027

Four conditions: an exalted Jupiter standing almost still on your own sign and turning direct on the 13th, its exact contact with Ketu on your sign on the 20th, a debilitated Mars on your sign until the 26th, and a ninth house carrying Saturn, a New Moon, and two exact conjunctions.

  • Guru worship on the five Thursdays — 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 April: the month’s central remedy. Exalted Jupiter is on your own sign, turns direct at 7:58 am on the 13th, and leaves Cancer on 26 June 2027. Turmeric, chana dal, and yellow given to a teacher rather than kept. See weak-Jupiter remedies and Thursday fasting.
  • Ketu observance around 20 April: Jupiter and Ketu share a degree on your own sign early on the Tuesday — the Guru-Chandal contact. A grey or multicoloured cloth given away, sesame, and a dog fed. See our Rahu-Ketu page and Ketu remedies.
  • Hanuman worship on the Tuesdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 April: Mars is debilitated on your own sign until 11:28 am on the 26th, having turned direct on the 1st. Red flowers, sindoor, and Hanuman Chalisa after sunset. See the Mangal remedies page and Tuesday fasting.
  • Monday observance for Chandra — 5, 12, 19 and 26 April: the Moon rules Kark Rashi, and April gives you the 19th and the 26th as Mondays carrying exact events. White flowers, rice, milk offered at a Shiva temple, and water given to someone who asks.
  • Saturday observance for Shani — 3, 10, 17 and 24 April: Saturn holds your ninth house, is exact with the Sun on the 7th and with Mercury on the 19th, and enters your tenth on 3 June 2027. Sesame oil, black til, and a peepal lamp after sundown. See the Shani remedies page.
  • Begin between the 14th and the 16th: the practical use of the reading rather than a ritual. Your Chandra days, exalted Jupiter direct on your sign, Kharmas ending, every day from the 15th open. This combination does not repeat this year.
  • Accept help you did not ask for: Guru-Chandal on the Moon sign makes good fortune feel like an imposition. Jupiter leaves Cancer on 26 June, and declining it is the one loss April can actually cause you.
  • Nothing domestic decided on the 21st: a fourth-house Full Moon with a debilitated Mars still on your sign. Let it surface; settle it after the 26th.

In Summary

For Kark Rashi, April 2027 is a month in which the most important planet in your chart does almost nothing. Exalted Jupiter on your own sign moves fourteen arc-minutes net across thirty days, with a total range of twenty-nine, all inside Ashlesha pada 2. It turns direct at 7:58 am on Tuesday 13 April at 22°45′. Read that as stability rather than as stagnation: the support is in place and it holds until Jupiter leaves Cancer on 26 June 2027.

The month’s relief is Mars. It turns direct at 7:42 pm on Thursday the 1st and leaves your sign for Leo at 11:28 am on Monday 26 April, ending seven weeks of a debilitated Mars on your Moon sign. The physical restlessness, the short temper and the disturbed sleep that came with it ease from the 1st and clear on the 26th, at the cost of Mars then sitting in your second house of speech and savings for the last five days.

The ninth house carries the month’s weather. Saturn there all month; the New Moon there at 5:21 am on Wednesday the 7th under a degree from Saturn; the Sun exact with Saturn at 10:48 pm on Wednesday the 7th; Mercury debilitated there from the 5th and exact with Saturn at 6:33 pm on Monday the 19th; and then exalted Venus from 3:16 pm on Thursday the 15th, which is the repair. A father, a teacher or a long journey is difficult in the first fortnight and rewarding in the second.

Two windows to use. Your Chandra days, 5:12 am on Wednesday 14 April to 8:18 am on Friday 16 April, are the month’s best forty-eight hours for beginning anything — the Moon on your own sign, exalted Jupiter direct beside it, and Kharmas ending on the first of those days. And 22 to 27 April is the career window, with the exalted Sun and Mercury both in your tenth house before they share a degree on the 29th. All of this is sign-level; which of the nine Cancer padas holds your natal Moon, and where Jupiter and Mars sit in your own chart, decides how much of it you feel. For more, read March’s reading, what Kark Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Rahu-Ketu page.

An exalted Jupiter on your rashi is worth using before June

Whether Guru-Chandal blunts it or barely touches you depends on your natal Jupiter, your ninth lord, and the dasha running — not on the Moon sign alone.
