Capricorn Rashifal November 2027 (Makara Rashi): Jupiter Leaves Your Eighth House for Your Ninth on the Twenty-Sixth and Starts Aspecting the Rahu on Your Sign

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

Jupiter changes sign once in November 2027, which means it changes house for all twelve rashis at the same instant. Only two of those twelve are a straight move out of a dusthana and into one of the chart’s strongest houses, and Makara’s is one of them: at 6:03 pm on Friday 26 November Jupiter leaves Leo, your eighth house, for Virgo, your ninth.

The occupancy is only half of it. A planet aspects the fifth, seventh and ninth houses from wherever it stands, and the ninth aspect thrown from the ninth house lands on the first. So from 6:03 pm on the 26th your own sign is receiving a direct aspect from the largest benefic in the sky, and it has not had one from this planet for years.

That matters more for Makara this year than it would for most signs, because your own sign is not empty. Rahu stands on it for all thirty days of November, from 12°31′ to 10°55′ of Shravana, without leaving pada 1. The aspect that begins on the 26th falls on Rahu as much as on you.

Guru’s Aspect on the Rahu Standing on Your Sign

Rahu on the rashi is the transit that makes a person restless in a way they cannot account for: ambition without a target, appetite without satisfaction, a sense that the current version of your life is provisional. It has been running all year and it is the single most defining condition in your chart. It does not change in November — the node moves backwards by one degree thirty-six minutes and stays inside one quarter of one nakshatra.

What changes is that a benefic starts looking at it. Jupiter’s aspect on Rahu is the classical mitigation for exactly this — it does not remove the appetite, it gives it a direction and a set of ethics. Restlessness turned into a plan is what the arrangement from 6:03 pm on the 26th describes, and it holds for months after November ends.

Ketu sits opposite, in your seventh house, across the same stretch of Pushya, pada 3 throughout. The axis lies along your first and seventh for the whole month, which is the classical picture of a person whose sense of themselves and their sense of their partner are both being rearranged at once. Our Rahu–Ketu remedies page and Kaal Sarp page are the further reading.

Your Sign Holds the Moon Longer Than Any Other, Again

The Moon takes between fifty and sixty-one hours to cross a sign, depending on where it is in its orbit. In November 2027 it is on Makara from 10:06 pm on Thursday 4 November to 10:59 am on Sunday 7 November — sixty hours fifty-three minutes, the longest of any sign this month. Mithuna, at the other end, gets fifty hours fifty-one.

This is the fourth month in a row that Makara has held the longest window: sixty hours fifty-eight minutes in August, sixty hours fifty-seven in September, sixty hours fifty-seven again in October, sixty hours fifty-three now. The figure has shortened by five minutes across the four months as the Moon’s apogee drifts around the zodiac, and the run will end when it drifts far enough.

The two full days inside that window are Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th, and the 6th is Saturn’s day, which for a Saturn-ruled sign makes it the best-arranged day of the month for anything that needs your own steadiness. There are four Saturdays: the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th.

One thing sits inside that window and is worth naming. The Moon passes over Rahu’s degree, on your own sign, on Friday 5 November. We publish that as a day rather than a minute, because an intra-sign crossing of a node depends on which node model is used — mean or true — and the two disagree by more than an hour. Expect the day to feel unusually charged and unusually unproductive at once, and do not sign anything on it.

Your Ruler Does Not Move All Month

Saturn, your ruler, holds Pisces, your third house, from the 1st to the 30th. It is retrograde throughout, drifting backwards from 29°05′ to 27°16′, and it never leaves Revati pada 4. Thirty days in one quarter of one nakshatra is as still as a planet gets.

The third is an upachaya house — one of the four that grow what is put into them — and it is one of the better places for Saturn to be. Effort, siblings, communication, short journeys and repeated practice: a slow ruler there rewards grinding at one thing for the whole month rather than switching. It is also not debilitated, since Saturn’s debilitation sign is Aries, which it left on 20 October. This is a slow Saturn, not a weak one.

Practically, this is the month to finish a course, a manuscript, a certification or a difficult conversation with a sibling — the kind of thing that needs thirty days of unglamorous persistence rather than a good week. Our Shani dosh page, Sade Sati page and Saturday fasting page cover the observance.

Everything Else Moves Into Your Eleventh and Twelfth

The rest of the sky drains towards the top of your chart. Mars spends the first eighteen days in its own sign in your eleventh house of gains and crosses into your twelfth at 8:38 am on Thursday 18 November. Venus follows the same road at 2:03 am on Sunday 21 November. Their exact conjunction — the only one anywhere in November — forms in your twelfth house at 7:05 am on Thursday 25 November, at 5°13′ of Sagittarius in Moola pada 2.

A Venus–Mars conjunction in the twelfth house is expenditure with feeling behind it: a trip, a treatment, a gift, something bought because it was wanted rather than needed. It is not a loss in the punishing sense, but it is an outflow, and the 25th is the day to expect it.

The Sun arrives in your eleventh house at Vrishchika Sankranti, 1:53 am on Wednesday 17 November, out of the sign of its debilitation. Mercury gets there at 12:25 am on Friday 26 November, having spent the first five days exalted in your ninth house and twenty days in your tenth. Mercury covers 41°53′ over the month, more ground than any other planet, direct throughout, and closing on the Sun as it goes — from about eighteen degrees away on the 1st to about six and a half by the 30th.

And the New Moon forms in your eleventh house at 8:54 am on Sunday 28 November, at 11°24′ of Scorpio in Anuradha pada 3. A lunation in the house of gains, with the Sun and Mercury there, is a good anchor for a new income arrangement — better than the calendar month is.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Tuesday 30 November — the month closes with Jupiter in your ninth aspecting your rashi, the Sun at 14°04′ and Mercury at 7°52′ in your eleventh, Venus at 12°17′ and Mars at 9°33′ of Moola in your twelfth, Rahu still at 10°55′ of Shravana on your sign, and Saturn still retrograde in Revati pada 4.

Week by Week

Thirty days from a Monday to a Tuesday. Makara’s month has its rest at the front and its turning point four days from the end, which is an unusual shape: the longest Chandra window of the month falls in the first week, and the change that matters most falls on the 26th.

1–7 November

Your longest window of the month and a charged day inside it. Jupiter enters Uttara Phalguni at 8:17 pm and the Moon arrives on your sign at 10:06 pm on Thursday the 4th; Mercury leaves its exaltation at 5:06 pm on Friday the 5th; the Sun enters Vishakha at 3:05 am and the Moon leaves your sign at 10:59 am on Sunday the 7th. Chhath Puja falls on Thursday 4 November. The Moon passes over Rahu’s degree on your rashi on Friday the 5th.

8–14 November

The week that lights your fourth house. Venus enters Jyeshtha at 8:02 am and Mercury enters Swati at 9:30 pm on Wednesday the 10th; the Full Moon forms in your fourth house at 8:55 am on Sunday the 14th. Dev Uthani Ekadashi falls on Wednesday 10 November. Kartik Purnima falls on Sunday 14 November. A fourth-house full moon is the month’s natural day for something at home to be settled openly.

15–21 November

The traffic moves up. Vrishchika Sankranti takes the debilitated Sun into your eleventh house at 1:53 am on Wednesday the 17th; Mars leaves your eleventh for your twelfth at 8:38 am on Thursday the 18th; Mercury enters Vishakha at 4:21 pm on Friday the 19th; the Sun enters Anuradha at 9:14 am on Saturday the 20th; Venus follows Mars at 2:03 am on Sunday the 21st.

22–28 November

The week Makara has been waiting for. Venus and Mars are exact in your twelfth house at 7:05 am on Thursday the 25th; Mercury reaches your eleventh at 12:25 am and Jupiter crosses from your eighth house into your ninth at 6:03 pm on Friday the 26th; the New Moon forms in your eleventh house at 8:54 am on Sunday the 28th, with Mercury entering Anuradha at 3:04 am.

29–30 November

Two days with nothing scheduled and a chart that has genuinely changed: a benefic out of your eighth house, in your ninth, and aspecting your own sign and the Rahu on it for the first time in years.

Career and Money for Makara Rashi

Libra, your tenth house of career, is the busiest house in your chart for most of the month: it holds the Sun until 1:53 am on the 17th and Mercury from 5:06 pm on the 5th to 12:25 am on the 26th. The Sun there is debilitated, which softens rather than blocks — less authority in the room, more room to negotiate. Mercury there for twenty days, direct and uncombust, is the useful part: this is the month to put a case in writing.

Income is where the month lands. Your eleventh house takes the Sun on the 17th, Mercury on the 26th, and the New Moon on the 28th, after holding Mars in its own sign and Venus for the first three weeks. Five of the nine grahas pass through your house of gains in November. Set a new rate or open a new channel at the lunation on the 28th rather than at the start of the month.

The caution is the twelfth house, which takes Mars on the 18th, Venus on the 21st and their exact conjunction on the 25th. Gains arriving in the eleventh and outflow arranged in the twelfth in the same fortnight is a recipe for a month that earns well and shows nothing at the end of it. Read our financial remedies and career remedies pages, and write down what you spend between the 18th and the 30th.

Home, Family and Partnership

Partnership carries Ketu for all thirty days, in one pada, opposite the Rahu on your own sign. That reads as a partner who seems less present than they are, or a bond that has quietly stopped being the thing it was — and it is a full-year condition rather than a November one. What November adds is Jupiter’s new aspect on your first house from the 26th, which strengthens your end of the axis without touching theirs.

The wedding calendar reopens mid-month. Dev Uthani Ekadashi falls on Wednesday 10 November, Chaturmas ends with it, and marriage muhurats become available for the first time since July — the marriage muhurat page for November 2027 has the dates, with ten of the month’s thirty days closed by Chaturmas before that. With Ketu in the seventh, a date after the 26th, when Jupiter is aspecting your rashi, is the better arithmetic. Our marriage delay page is the further reading.

Home takes the Full Moon at 8:55 am on the 14th and no graha otherwise. The fourth house being empty of grahas but lit by the month’s brightest lunation is a good combination for a domestic matter that needs to be said out loud rather than managed — and Kartik Purnima falling on the same day gives it an observance to sit inside. The griha pravesh page and business and property page have workable dates.

Health

Gemini, your sixth house of illness, takes no graha at all this month beyond the Moon’s ordinary two-day passage, and your eighth house loses Jupiter on the 26th, which is a benefic leaving a difficult house rather than the reverse. On occupancy alone this is one of the better health months of the year for Makara.

Makara’s standing weak points are the knees, joints, bones and skin, all Saturn-governed, and Saturn is retrograde and near-stationary for all thirty days. A near-stationary Saturn is the classical signature of a complaint that neither worsens nor resolves — the stiff joint, the recurring ache — and the treatment that works on it is consistency over thirty days rather than intensity over three.

Your Chandra window is 10:06 pm on 4 November to 10:59 am on 7 November, and it is the longest any sign gets this month, so the 5th and 6th are your rest days — with the caveat that the 5th also carries the Moon over Rahu’s degree, which tends to disturb sleep rather than deepen it. Read our Shani remedies and weak Moon page.

Remedies for Makara Rashi in November 2027

Four conditions define the month: Jupiter crossing from your eighth house to your ninth at 6:03 pm on 26 November and beginning to aspect your own sign; Rahu on that sign for all thirty days inside Shravana pada 1; the longest Chandra window of the month, 10:06 pm on 4 November to 10:59 am on the 7th; and your ruler retrograde and near-stationary in your third house throughout.

  • Rest on the 5th and 6th, and treat the 6th as the better of the two: both are full days of your longest window, and the 5th carries the Moon over Rahu’s degree on your sign.
  • Do not sign anything on Friday the 5th: a Chandra–Rahu crossing on the rashi is the classical day for an agreement you later wish you had read twice.
  • Shani practice on the four Saturdays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 November: iron, sesame, black cloth, and something done for someone who cannot repay it. Your ruler does not move all month.
  • Put the new income arrangement on the 28th: the New Moon forms in your eleventh house with the Sun and Mercury already there.
  • Give one long-running effort the whole month: a retrograde Saturn in the third house rewards finishing, not starting.
  • Track what you spend between the 18th and the 30th: Mars and Venus are both in your twelfth house and exact there on the 25th.
  • Guru practice from the 26th: yellow things, a teacher acknowledged. Jupiter enters your ninth house that evening and starts aspecting your rashi, and that arrangement outlasts November.

In Summary

For Makara Rashi, November 2027 is a month whose whole weight sits on one instant. At 6:03 pm on Friday 26 November Jupiter leaves your eighth house for your ninth — a dusthana for the best trine there is — and in doing so begins throwing its ninth aspect on your own sign, and on the Rahu that has been standing there all year at 12°31′ down to 10°55′ of Shravana pada 1. Restlessness given a direction is the whole of what that describes.

Before that, the month gives you its longest rest. The Moon is on Makara from 10:06 pm on Thursday 4 November to 10:59 am on Sunday 7 November — sixty hours fifty-three minutes, longer than any other sign gets this month, and the fourth month running that this has been true. Only the Moon’s passage over Rahu’s degree on Friday the 5th spoils it. Everything else drains upward: five grahas pass through your eleventh house, the New Moon forms there at 8:54 am on Sunday 28 November, and Venus and Mars are exact in your twelfth at 7:05 am on Thursday 25 November.

Everything above is computed for a whole sign, which is thirty degrees of sky and a great many different lives. Which of the nine Makara padas holds your natal Moon, where Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of it reaches you. For more, read October’s reading, what Makara Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our page on Rahu in Vedic astrology.

Jupiter starts aspecting your sign on the twenty-sixth

Whether Guru’s new aspect actually settles the Rahu on Makara depends on which pada holds your natal Moon, where Saturn and Rahu sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running.
