Libra Rashifal August 2027 (Tula Rashi): Saturn Stations Retrograde Opposite Your Sign While the Moon Is Still on It

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

Saturn spends the whole of August 2027 debilitated in Aries, which is your seventh house — the sign directly opposite Tula. It turns retrograde at 11:04 pm on Monday 9 August. The Moon is on Libra at that moment, and it leaves the sign at 1:06 am on Tuesday 10 August: the station happens two hours and two minutes before the Moon steps off your rashi.

That coincidence is the shape of the month. Saturn opposing your sign is the one placement that touches everything a Libra chart is built on — the other person, the agreement, the balance — and it reverses direction while the Moon is still standing on you. The rest of August then unfolds against that fixed background.

The second fixed point is that the lord of that seventh house comes to sit on your rashi. Mars owns Aries, and it crosses from Virgo into Libra at 9:42 am on Tuesday 24 August, the day of Krishna Janmashtami. From that morning the ruler of your partnership house is in your first house while a debilitated, retrograde Saturn occupies the house it owns. Whatever the relationship question is in August, it will be asked from your side.

The Station, and Why We Print It to the Minute

Saturn covers 3°34′ to 3°13′ of Ashwini across the whole month — about a third of a degree, backwards, at roughly 0.035 degrees a day. We publish the station at 11:04 pm on 9 August to the minute, and we give Saturn’s sign position only as a sign. The distinction is technical rather than cautious: a station is intrinsic to the geometry of the Earth and the planet and does not move if you change ayanamsa, whereas a sign crossing at that speed does. The one is defensible to the minute; the other is not.

The Moon reaches Libra at 6:07 pm on Saturday 7 August and leaves at 1:06 am on Tuesday 10 August — fifty-four hours fifty-nine minutes on your rashi. Two things fall inside it: Mercury is exact with Ketu in your tenth house nine hours nine minutes after it opens, and Saturn’s station arrives fifty-two hours fifty-seven minutes in, with just over two hours of the window left.

A debilitated Saturn in the seventh is not a verdict on the marriage. What it reliably does is slow the other side down: a decision the partner will not make, a contract counterparty who keeps returning to a settled clause, an agreement that needs a third revision. Retrograde makes it retrospective — the thing coming back is something already discussed. See our page on marriage delay and our Shani remedies.

Six Exact Conjunctions in Your Tenth House of Career

August 2027 has eight exact conjunctions. July 2027 had one. For Tula Rashi, six of the eight happen in Cancer, your tenth house of career and public standing, inside nine days — and Ketu sits in that house for all thirty-one.

The Sun is exact with Ketu at 6:07 am on Wednesday 4 August at 17°13′. Venus is exact with Ketu at 11:15 pm on Thursday 5 August. Mercury is exact with Ketu at 3:16 am on Sunday 8 August. Then Mercury with Venus at 11:59 am on Wednesday 11 August at 23°57′, the Sun with Mercury at 4:32 pm the same day, and the Sun with Venus at 5:50 am on Thursday 12 August at 24°52′. And the first New Moon of the month forms in that same house at 3:35 pm on Monday 2 August at 15°42′ of Cancer, in Pushya pada 4.

A tenth house carrying a New Moon and six exact conjunctions in a fortnight is the loudest professional signal any sign gets this month. Ketu there gives it a particular character: the recognition arrives, but for something other than what you were presenting, or from a direction you were not cultivating. Take the opening and do not argue with its shape. The New Moon of the 2nd is the right date to begin a professional cycle; the days from the 4th to the 12th are when it is decided.

Your Ruler Is Combust for the Entire Month

Venus rules Tula, and Venus is combust for all thirty-one days of August 2027. Shukra asta runs from 6 July to 17 September — seventy-three days — and its deepest point is 5:50 am on Thursday 12 August, when the Sun is exact with Venus at 24°52′ of Cancer. Your lord is in the sky the whole month and invisible the whole month.

Venus itself moves from your tenth house to your eleventh at 9:29 am on Monday 16 August, entering Magha at the same instant, and reaches Purva Phalguni at 4:03 am on Friday 27 August. In the eleventh it is exact with Jupiter at 8:29 am on Thursday 26 August at 12°19′ of Leo — a Shukra–Guru conjunction in the house of gains, which would be one of the year’s better placements if both bodies were not combust at the time.

And the calendar gives you only four Fridays — the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th, the fewest weekday count August has, shared with Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Venus rules Friday, so your own weekday is short this month and your lord is combust on all four of them. That is not a reason to skip the observance; it is the reason to keep it. See our Shukra remedies and Friday fasting pages.

The Full Moon in Your Fourth House, With Rahu There

The Full Moon of 12:58 pm on Tuesday 17 August forms at the very end of Capricorn, in the closing minutes of Dhanishta pada 2 — your fourth house of home, mother and property. Rahu is in that house all month, moving backwards from 17°23′ to 15°45′ of Shravana, standing at roughly 16°30′ on the 17th. So the lunation is about thirteen and a half degrees from Rahu: same house, not a conjunction.

Three events fall inside sixty-nine minutes that afternoon. The Full Moon at 12:58 pm; the Moon leaving Capricorn at 1:04 pm, six minutes later; and Simha Sankranti at 2:07 pm, when the Sun enters its own sign and your eleventh house. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August, and the Purnima tithi it needs ends at the Full Moon itself. With the nodal axis running through your fourth and tenth houses for the whole month, and six conjunctions in the tenth, the tension of August is exactly the classical one: home against career.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Sunday 1 August, 11:21 am — Mercury enters Pushya in your tenth house.
  • Monday 2 August, 3:35 pm — the first New Moon forms in your tenth house of career at 15°42′ of Cancer, in Pushya pada 4. That day’s panchang.
  • Tuesday 3 August, 4:26 pm — the Sun enters Ashlesha.
  • Wednesday 4 August, 6:07 am — the Sun is exact with Ketu at 17°13′ in your tenth house. Hariyali Teej falls on Wednesday 4 August.
  • Thursday 5 August, 2:24 pm — Venus enters Ashlesha, and is exact with Ketu at 11:15 pm.
  • Friday 6 August — Nag Panchami. The first of only four Fridays.
  • Saturday 7 August, 6:07 pm — the Moon arrives on Tula Rashi for fifty-four hours fifty-nine minutes. Mercury enters Ashlesha at 11:21 pm.
  • Sunday 8 August, 3:16 am — Mercury is exact with Ketu at 17°01′ in your tenth house, nine hours nine minutes into your Chandra window.
  • Monday 9 August, 11:04 pm — Saturn turns retrograde in your seventh house, debilitated, with the Moon still on your rashi. Panchang for the day.
  • Tuesday 10 August, 1:06 am — the Moon leaves Libra, two hours and two minutes after Saturn’s station.
  • Wednesday 11 August, 11:59 am and 4:32 pm — Mercury exact with Venus at 23°57′, then the Sun exact with Mercury at 24°20′, both in your tenth house.
  • Thursday 12 August, 5:50 am — the Sun is exact with Venus at 24°52′: the deepest point of Shukra asta, your ruler’s lowest visibility of the year.
  • Friday 13 August, 8:23 pm — Mars enters Chitra in your twelfth house.
  • Saturday 14 August, 11:50 am — Mercury leaves your tenth house for your eleventh and enters Magha. Ketu reverses into Pushya the same day, which we give as a day and not a minute: at 0.053 degrees a day, a printed time would be false precision.
  • Monday 16 August, 9:29 am — Venus moves into your eleventh house and enters Magha, combust. Guru asta begins: Jupiter is combust in that house to 15 September.
  • Tuesday 17 August, 12:58 pm — the Full Moon forms in your fourth house at the end of Capricorn, in Dhanishta pada 2, about thirteen and a half degrees from Rahu. The Moon leaves Capricorn at 1:04 pm.
  • Tuesday 17 August, 2:07 pm — Simha Sankranti: the Sun enters Leo, its own sign, and your eleventh house of gains. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August. Panchang for the day.
  • Friday 20 August, 4:16 am — Mercury is exact with Jupiter at 10°59′ of Leo, in your eleventh house.
  • Saturday 21 August, 10:40 am — Mercury enters Purva Phalguni.
  • Tuesday 24 August, 9:42 am — Mars leaves your twelfth house and arrives on Tula Rashi, bringing the lord of your seventh house onto your own sign. Krishna Janmashtami falls on Tuesday 24 August.
  • Thursday 26 August, 8:29 am — Venus is exact with Jupiter at 12°19′ of Leo in your eleventh house, with both combust.
  • Friday 27 August, 4:03 am — Venus enters Purva Phalguni. The last of four Fridays.
  • Sunday 29 August, 1:19 am — Mercury enters Uttara Phalguni.
  • Tuesday 31 August, 1:57 am — Mercury enters Virgo, exalted, in your twelfth house. The Sun enters Purva Phalguni at 10:05 am, Jupiter reaches the same nakshatra in the last hours of the month, and the second New Moon forms in your eleventh house at 11:11 pm. Panchang for the day.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days running Sunday to Tuesday. Five Sundays, five Mondays and five Tuesdays; only four each of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Venus rules Friday, so your weekday is one of the four short ones, and your ruler is combust on every one of them.

1–7 August

The career week. The first New Moon of the month forms in your tenth house at 3:35 pm on Monday the 2nd, the Sun crosses Ketu there at 6:07 am on Wednesday the 4th, and Venus crosses the same point at 11:15 pm on Thursday the 5th. Hariyali Teej falls on Wednesday 4 August. Nag Panchami falls on Friday 6 August. The Moon arrives on Tula Rashi at 6:07 pm on Saturday the 7th. This is the week to make a professional move; the tenth house will not be this active again this year.

8–14 August

The pivot week, and the tense one. Mercury crosses Ketu in your tenth house at 3:16 am on Sunday the 8th, nine hours into your Chandra window. Saturn turns retrograde in your seventh at 11:04 pm on Monday the 9th, and the Moon leaves your sign at 1:06 am on Tuesday the 10th, two hours later. Wednesday the 11th carries two exact conjunctions five hours apart, and Thursday the 12th carries the deepest point of your ruler’s combustion at 5:50 am. Mars enters Chitra at 8:23 pm on Friday the 13th and Mercury changes house at 11:50 am on Saturday the 14th. Do not press the other party this week.

15–21 August

The week your eleventh house fills. Venus crosses into it at 9:29 am on Monday the 16th and Guru asta begins the same day. Tuesday the 17th holds three events inside sixty-nine minutes: the Full Moon in your fourth house at 12:58 pm, the Moon out of Capricorn at 1:04 pm, and Simha Sankranti at 2:07 pm, bringing the Sun in its own sign into your house of gains. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August. Mercury is exact with Jupiter in the eleventh at 4:16 am on Friday the 20th. Home and career pull against each other on the 17th; the home side wins that afternoon.

22–28 August

Mars arrives. At 9:42 am on Tuesday the 24th, Krishna Janmashtami, Mars leaves your twelfth house and lands on your rashi, and the lord of your seventh house is now in your first. Expect to become the one who initiates — and expect a shorter fuse than Tula is used to, because Mars in a Venus sign is direct where you are diplomatic. Venus is exact with Jupiter in your eleventh at 8:29 am on Thursday the 26th, both combust, and enters Purva Phalguni at 4:03 am on Friday the 27th.

29–31 August

A quiet, well-arranged close. Mercury enters Uttara Phalguni at 1:19 am on Sunday the 29th, then reaches Virgo and exaltation in your twelfth house at 1:57 am on Tuesday the 31st. The Sun enters Purva Phalguni at 10:05 am, Jupiter reaches Purva Phalguni in the last hours of the month, and the second New Moon of August forms in your eleventh house of gains at 11:11 pm. Two New Moons in one calendar month is uncommon; for Tula they land in your tenth and eleventh houses, which is the better of the possible pairs.

Career and Money for Tula Rashi

Career is the month’s subject and the first fortnight is the month. Six exact conjunctions and a New Moon in your tenth house between the 2nd and the 12th is as concentrated a professional window as the year contains. The Sun, Mercury and Venus all pass over Ketu there, which is why the recognition tends to be sideways — a role you did not apply for, credit for a piece of work you had discounted, an approach from outside your sector. Say yes to the version that is offered. Read our career remedies page.

Money follows on the 17th, when Simha Sankranti moves the Sun into its own sign in your eleventh house of gains, alongside Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. Four planets in the eleventh from that afternoon, two exact conjunctions there on the 20th and the 26th, and the second New Moon of the month there at 11:11 pm on 31 August. The qualifier is that two of those four are combust — Venus all month, Jupiter from the 16th — so the gains are arranged in August and collected later. See our financial remedies page.

One caution and one relief. The caution: Saturn retrograde in your seventh house means every contract counterparty is slower than they promise, and anything signed in August will need a follow-up in September. The relief: Mars spends the first twenty-three days in your twelfth house, where a malefic does comparatively little damage, and leaves for your rashi on the 24th rather than staying to drain the account.

Home, Family and Partnership

Partnership is where the month asks its question. A debilitated Saturn occupies your seventh house for all thirty-one days and turns retrograde on the 9th; then on the 24th Mars, which owns that house, arrives on your rashi. Read the pair together: the initiative shifts to you, and the other side becomes slower and more retrospective at the same time. That combination resolves badly if you push and reasonably well if you wait — a retrograde Saturn eventually delivers what it delayed, provided nobody forces it.

The wedding calendar is closed on three independent grounds anyway: Chaturmas runs across all thirty-one days, Venus is combust from 6 July to 17 September, and Jupiter is combust from the 16th to 15 September. For Tula the Venus condition matters most, since Venus is your ruler as well as the graha of marriage. The marriage muhurat page for August 2027 sets out the arithmetic, and our marriage-delay page covers the pattern.

Home carries the Full Moon. The lunation of 12:58 pm on 17 August forms in your fourth house with Rahu about thirteen and a half degrees away, on Raksha Bandhan, and the fourth is also where the nodal axis sits all month. Something about the house, the property, or your mother becomes visible that week. The griha pravesh page for August 2027 explains why the formal ceremony waits, and the business and property page covers a purchase.

Health

The health note is about the last week rather than the first. Mars arriving on your rashi at 9:42 am on 24 August and staying past month’s end typically shows up in a Tula chart as heat, restlessness and a tendency to injure yourself in a hurry. The kidneys and lower back are the classical Tula weak points, and Mars on the sign pressures them. Slow down physically from the 24th, and take the small precaution before the small accident.

Your Chandra window is 6:07 pm on 7 August to 1:06 am on 10 August — fifty-four hours fifty-nine minutes, with Mercury exact with Ketu nine hours nine minutes in and Saturn’s station two hours before it closes. Brahma muhurta on the 8th and the 9th, with the Moon on Tula, are the two strongest mornings of the month. Between the 4th and the 12th, when six conjunctions crowd your tenth house, the risk is overwork rather than illness.

Remedies for Tula Rashi in August 2027

Four conditions define the month: a debilitated Saturn turning retrograde in your seventh house at 11:04 pm on the 9th, two hours before the Moon leaves your sign; six of the month’s eight exact conjunctions in your tenth house between the 4th and the 12th, with a New Moon there on the 2nd; Venus, your ruler, combust for all thirty-one days; and Mars, the lord of your seventh, arriving on your rashi on the 24th.

  • Shukra practice on the four Fridays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 August: your ruler is combust on every one of them, which is exactly why the observance matters. White or pale clothing, rice and ghee, something given to a woman older than you, and no harsh speech. See Shukra remedies and Friday fasting.
  • Shani observance on the Saturdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 August: Saturn is debilitated and retrograde in the house directly opposite your sign. Sesame oil, black til, mustard oil to a peepal after sundown. See Shani remedies, Saturday fasting and our Shani dosh page.
  • Do not force the other side between the 9th and the end of the month: a retrograde Saturn in the seventh returns what it withheld if it is left alone, and hardens if it is pushed. Put the ask in writing once and wait.
  • Take the professional opening between the 2nd and the 12th: six exact conjunctions and a lunation in your tenth house is the year’s clearest career window, and Ketu there means it will not arrive in the shape you expected.
  • Ketu practice for the tenth house: Ketu holds your career house all month and three planets cross it exactly. See our Ketu remedies and the Rahu–Ketu page.
  • Mangal restraint from the 24th: Mars on Tula Rashi is direct where you are diplomatic, and physically careless where you are usually measured. Hanuman Chalisa on the Tuesdays — 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 August. See Tuesday fasting.
  • Keep the 7th to the 10th clear: your only Chandra window this month runs from 6:07 pm on the 7th to 1:06 am on the 10th, and Saturn’s station falls inside it. Anything you want the month to remember belongs in those fifty-five hours.

In Summary

For Tula Rashi, August 2027 is defined by a planet you cannot see moving in a house you do not control. Saturn is debilitated in your seventh house for all thirty-one days and turns retrograde at 11:04 pm on Monday 9 August, two hours and two minutes before the Moon leaves your rashi at 1:06 am on 10 August. Then on 24 August at 9:42 am Mars, which owns that seventh house, arrives on your own sign, moving the initiative to you while the other side slows down.

Around that, the month is unusually generous professionally. Six of August’s eight exact conjunctions fall in your tenth house of career between the 4th and the 12th, with Ketu present throughout and the first New Moon of the month there at 3:35 pm on 2 August. From Simha Sankranti at 2:07 pm on 17 August the Sun joins Jupiter, Mercury and Venus in your eleventh house of gains, which takes two more conjunctions and the second New Moon at 11:11 pm on 31 August.

The costs are combustion and calendar. Venus, your ruler, is combust for every day of the month and deepest at 5:50 am on 12 August; Jupiter joins it from the 16th; and August gives you only four Fridays. The Full Moon of 12:58 pm on 17 August lands in your fourth house, six minutes before the Moon changes sign. All of this is sign-level. Which of the nine Libra padas holds your natal Moon, where Venus and Saturn sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of it reaches you. For more, read July’s reading, what Tula Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our page on marriage delay.

Saturn retrograde in the house opposite your sign

Whether a debilitated Saturn in the seventh reads as delay or as something heavier depends on which of your padas holds the natal Moon and where Venus and Saturn sit in your own chart — a sign-level reading cannot settle that.
