Where the 6th and 9th Lordship Comes From

Jupiter owns Sagittarius and Pisces. Counting from Cancer as the first house, Sagittarius is the 6th and Pisces is the 9th — which is the whole of it. Two signs, two houses — the 6th and the 9th from Cancer — and the verdict on yellow sapphire turns on which of the two carries more weight.

Jupiter in Cancer Itself

4. Wash the ring in raw milk, honey, ghee, curd and clean water, place it before Brihaspati, and chant ॐ ग्रां ग्रीं ग्रौं सः गुरवे नमः — Om Graam Greem Graum Sah Gurave Namah — 19,000 times, or have the japa performed for you.
5. Put it on for the first time on Thursday morning, and fast on Thursday to support the same graha.
6. You may keep pearl, the Cancer primary stone, on at the same time, since Jupiter and the Moon carry no enmity either way. Observe the first thirty days and remove it if anything worsens sharply.

Because the 6th and the 9th pulls in two directions from Cancer, the trial matters more here than it does for a straightforward recommendation. Tie the stone to the arm or wear it for three to seven days before committing to a setting.

The Ascendants Yellow Sapphire Reads Differently For

The same stone is not the same advice from every ascendant, and yellow sapphire is a clear example. From Cancer the verdict is split rather than settled.
