Wearing It Alongside Blue Sapphire

Blue Sapphire is the Capricorn primary stone, because Saturn rules Capricorn (Makara) and owns the 1st and the 2nd from it. So the pairing a Capricorn native is most likely to consider is pearl with blue sapphire, and whether that is allowed depends on how the Moon and Saturn rate each other.

Saturn counts the Moon an enemy while the Moon rates Saturn neutral. Parashari friendship is not symmetric — eleven of the twenty-one graha pairs rate each other differently in the two directions, and seven of those eleven are a one-sided enmity exactly like this one. If the appeal is pearl itself rather than the Moon, its upratna is moonstone — a substitute of the same graha with a far milder effect, which is the usual compromise where the primary stone is contraindicated.

The Ascendants Pearl Reads Differently For

The same stone is not the same advice from every ascendant, and pearl is a clear example. From Capricorn it does not do what it looks like it should.
