Pisces Rashifal August 2027 (Meena Rashi): Everything Crowds Into Your Sixth House, and Your Ruler Goes Dark There on the 16th

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

August 2027 gathers four planets into one sign, and for Meena Rashi that sign is Leo — your sixth house of illness, debt, disputes and unglamorous daily work. It is the house you would least choose for a crowd. And it already holds Jupiter, the ruler of your sign, for all thirty-one days.

Mercury moves in at 11:50 am on Saturday 14 August, Venus at 9:29 am on Monday 16 August, and the Sun, in its own sign, at 2:07 pm on Tuesday 17 August. From that afternoon your sixth house holds four planets. Two exact conjunctions happen in it, and the month’s second New Moon forms there at 11:11 pm on Tuesday 31 August.

And the Sun’s arrival puts your ruler out. Guru asta — Jupiter combust — runs from 16 August to 15 September, because the Sun is closing on Jupiter in Leo. So the graha that would ordinarily protect you inside a crowded sixth house is the one graha in it that cannot be seen. That is August for Meena in a sentence: everything lands in the house of trouble, and your defender is invisible there.

The Month Moves One House at Its Midpoint

The first half of August belongs to a completely different part of your chart. Cancer is your fifth house — children, creativity, romance, study, the things done for their own sake — and six of the month’s eight exact conjunctions happen there, between the 4th and the 12th, with Ketu resident all month. July 2027 had one exact conjunction in the whole sky. August has eight, and six of them are in your fifth house.

The Sun is exact with Ketu at 6:07 am on Wednesday 4 August at 17°13′. Venus is exact with Ketu at 11:15 pm on Thursday 5 August at 17°07′. Mercury is exact with Ketu at 3:16 am on Sunday 8 August at 17°01′. Then the three meet each other deeper in the sign, in Ashlesha: Mercury with Venus at 11:59 am on Wednesday 11 August at 23°57′, the Sun with Mercury at 4:32 pm the same day at 24°20′, and the Sun with Venus at 5:50 am on Thursday 12 August at 24°52′ — the deepest point of Shukra asta.

The first New Moon of the month forms in that same fifth house at 3:35 pm on Monday 2 August at 15°42′ of Cancer, in Pushya pada 4. So the shape of the month is a migration: the first twelve days are creative, romantic and child-centred, and then the same planets step one house forward and the second half is work, health, debt and obligation. The hinge is the 14th to the 17th.

Your Ruler, Combust, in the House of Debt

Jupiter runs 6°54′ of Magha to 13°33′ of Purva Phalguni across the month, all of it inside your sixth house, and it is combust for the last sixteen days. It is also met twice there while combust: Mercury is exact with it at 4:16 am on Friday 20 August at 10°59′ of Leo, and Venus at 8:29 am on Thursday 26 August at 12°19′, with both bodies invisible.

There is a classical reading that softens this. The sixth is an upachaya house — a house of growth — and it is the house of overcoming: disease is met there, debt is repaid there, opposition is defeated there. A benefic in the sixth is not wasted; it is deployed. Jupiter there for a full month is real support for exactly the sort of grinding, procedural work Meena usually avoids: the claim, the repayment, the course of treatment, the complaint that has to be written properly.

Combustion does not remove that support. It removes the visibility of it. Things get better without looking as though they are getting better, which for a sign as sensitive to atmosphere as Meena is its own kind of difficulty. Jupiter rules Thursday, and August 2027 has only four — the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th — with your ruler combust on the last two. See our Guru remedies and Thursday fasting pages.

Saturn Debilitated and Retrograde in Your Second House

Saturn is debilitated in Aries all month — your second house of income, savings, speech and immediate family — and turns retrograde at 11:04 pm on Monday 9 August. It covers only 3°34′ to 3°13′ of Ashwini in thirty-one days: about a third of a degree, backwards.

Paired with a crowded sixth house, that is the month’s real financial statement. The second house is what you earn and hold; the sixth is what you owe and spend on obligation. A weakened Saturn in the earning house and four planets in the owing house together mean money is present but committed. Retrograde makes it retrospective: an old bill, a repayment restarted, a family financial matter reopening after the 9th. Speech is the second thing the second house governs, and a debilitated Saturn there is worth respecting — say less than you want to, especially to family, in the week after the 9th.

We publish the station at 11:04 pm on the 9th to the minute and give Saturn’s position only as a sign. The reason is technical: a station is intrinsic to the geometry of the Earth and the planet and does not move if you change ayanamsa, whereas a sign boundary at 0.035 degrees a day does. One figure is defensible to the minute; the other is not. Saturn rules Saturday, and August has only four — the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. See our Shani remedies, Saturday fasting and Shani dosh pages.

Your Seventh Lord Comes Home Exalted, With One Day Left

Virgo is your seventh house, and Mercury rules it. At 1:57 am on Tuesday 31 August Mercury enters Virgo — which means the lord of your seventh house arrives in that house simultaneously swakshetra, in its own sign, and uchcha, exalted. Mercury exalts in Virgo and owns Virgo; the two dignities coincide in one sign, and that sign is your house of partnership.

Mercury earns it. Across August it covers just over fifty-nine degrees, from 2°24′ of Cancer to 1°29′ of Virgo — five nakshatras and two sign boundaries, moving through your fifth house, your sixth and into your seventh. It is the fastest and most travelled body in the month’s chart, and it finishes at the strongest point available to it.

It also arrives with one day of August left, which is the honest limitation. An exalted seventh lord in the seventh is a September fact that happens to be dated 31 August. What it does inside this month is set the terms: Mars vacates your seventh house at 9:42 am on Tuesday 24 August for your eighth, so the house is cleared of a malefic a week before its own lord walks in exalted. That sequence is the best news on this page.

A Full Moon in Your Eleventh, and Fifty-Eight Hours on Meena

The Full Moon forms at 12:58 pm on Tuesday 17 August, at the very end of Capricorn, in the closing minutes of Dhanishta pada 2 — your eleventh house of gains, networks and elder siblings, where Rahu sits for all thirty-one days, moving backwards from 17°23′ to 15°45′ of Shravana. On the 17th Rahu stands near 16°30′, so the lunation is about thirteen and a half degrees from it: the same house, not a conjunction. We print no degree figure for the lunation itself, because the Moon leaves Capricorn six minutes after it forms and any arcminute would be false precision.

A Full Moon in the eleventh with Rahu resident is the month’s one clearly favourable large-scale signal for Meena: gains through numbers, through the network, through people you barely know. Rahu is at home in the eleventh in the classical reading, and a lunation there tends to bring a return you did not directly work for. It is also the counterweight to a crowded sixth — what the obligation house takes, the gains house partly replaces.

Your own Chandra window comes three days later: the Moon is on Meena from 1:04 am on Friday 20 August to 11:10 am on Sunday 22 August, fifty-eight hours six minutes. It opens three hours twelve minutes before Mercury meets Jupiter in your sixth house, and Mercury enters Purva Phalguni thirty-three hours thirty-six minutes into it. Use those two and a half days for anything that needs you at your most persuasive.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Sunday 1 August, 11:21 am — Mercury enters Pushya in your fifth house.
  • Monday 2 August, 3:35 pm — the first New Moon forms in your fifth house at 15°42′ of Cancer, in Pushya pada 4. That day’s panchang.
  • Tuesday 3 August, 4:26 pm — the Sun enters Ashlesha.
  • Wednesday 4 August, 6:07 am — the Sun is exact with Ketu at 17°13′ in your fifth house. Hariyali Teej falls on Wednesday 4 August.
  • Thursday 5 August, 2:24 pm — Venus enters Ashlesha, and is exact with Ketu at 11:15 pm.
  • Friday 6 August — Nag Panchami.
  • Sunday 8 August, 3:16 am — Mercury is exact with Ketu at 17°01′ in your fifth house.
  • Monday 9 August, 11:04 pm — Saturn turns retrograde in your second house, debilitated. Panchang for the day.
  • Wednesday 11 August, 11:59 am and 4:32 pm — Mercury exact with Venus at 23°57′, then the Sun exact with Mercury at 24°20′, both in your fifth house.
  • Thursday 12 August, 5:50 am — the Sun is exact with Venus at 24°52′: the deepest point of Shukra asta.
  • Friday 13 August, 8:23 pm — Mars enters Chitra in your seventh house.
  • Saturday 14 August, 11:50 am — Mercury leaves your fifth house for your sixth and enters Magha. Ketu reverses into Pushya the same day, which we give as a day and not a minute — at 0.053 degrees a day, a printed time would be false precision.
  • Monday 16 August, 9:29 am — Venus enters Leo and Magha, combust, in your sixth house. Guru asta begins the same day: your ruler is combust in that house to 15 September.
  • Tuesday 17 August, 12:58 pm — the Full Moon forms in your eleventh house at the very end of Capricorn, in Dhanishta pada 2, about thirteen and a half degrees from Rahu. Panchang for the day.
  • Tuesday 17 August, 2:07 pm — Simha Sankranti: the Sun enters Leo, its own sign, and your sixth house, which now holds four planets. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August.
  • Friday 20 August, 1:04 am — the Moon arrives on Meena Rashi for fifty-eight hours six minutes; Mercury is exact with Jupiter at 10°59′ of Leo, in your sixth house, at 4:16 am.
  • Saturday 21 August, 10:40 am — Mercury enters Purva Phalguni, thirty-three hours thirty-six minutes into your Chandra window.
  • Tuesday 24 August, 9:42 am — Mars leaves your seventh house for your eighth, without leaving Chitra, because that nakshatra straddles the sign boundary. Krishna Janmashtami falls on Tuesday 24 August.
  • Thursday 26 August, 8:29 am — Venus is exact with Jupiter at 12°19′ of Leo in your sixth house, with both combust.
  • Friday 27 August, 4:03 am — Venus enters Purva Phalguni.
  • Sunday 29 August, 1:19 am — Mercury enters Uttara Phalguni.
  • Tuesday 31 August, 1:57 am — Mercury, lord of your seventh house, enters Virgo: exalted and in its own sign, in that house. The Sun enters Purva Phalguni at 10:05 am, Jupiter reaches the same nakshatra in the last hours of the month, and the second New Moon forms in your sixth house at 11:11 pm. Panchang for the day.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days running Sunday to Tuesday. Five Sundays, five Mondays and five Tuesdays; only four each of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Jupiter rules Meena and rules Thursday, so your own weekday is one of the four short ones, and your ruler is combust on the last two of them.

1–7 August

The best week of the month, and it is over before most people notice it. The first New Moon forms in your fifth house at 3:35 pm on Monday the 2nd, and the Sun crosses Ketu there at 6:07 am on Wednesday the 4th, Venus at 11:15 pm on Thursday the 5th. Hariyali Teej falls on Wednesday 4 August. Nag Panchami falls on Friday 6 August. Start the creative project, spend the time with the children, say the thing to the person you are drawn to. The fifth house does not get another week like this in 2027.

8–14 August

The turn. Mercury crosses Ketu in your fifth at 3:16 am on Sunday the 8th, and Saturn turns retrograde, debilitated, in your second house at 11:04 pm on Monday the 9th — the money and speech transit, and the one to be careful with. Wednesday the 11th carries two exact conjunctions five hours apart and Thursday the 12th the deepest at 5:50 am. Mars enters Chitra at 8:23 pm on Friday the 13th; Mercury crosses from your fifth house to your sixth at 11:50 am on Saturday the 14th. From the 14th the month changes register.

15–21 August

The pivot week. Venus enters your sixth house at 9:29 am on Monday the 16th and Guru asta begins the same day, putting your ruler out for the next month. Tuesday the 17th carries three events in sixty-nine minutes: the Full Moon in your eleventh house of gains at 12:58 pm, the Moon changing sign at 1:04 pm, and Simha Sankranti at 2:07 pm, which fills your sixth house to four planets. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August. Then the Moon arrives on Meena at 1:04 am on Friday the 20th for fifty-eight hours. Take the eleventh-house opportunity on the 17th; it is the month’s clean gift.

22–28 August

Mars leaves your seventh house at 9:42 am on Tuesday the 24th, Krishna Janmashtami — a real easing in partnership after twenty-three days of a malefic sitting opposite your sign. It moves into your eighth, which is less comfortable for joint money and shared property, so settle anything financial with a partner before that morning. Venus is exact with Jupiter in your sixth house at 8:29 am on Thursday the 26th, both combust: good for a claim, a settlement or a medical appointment, and unremarkable to look at.

29–31 August

The strongest three days for the months ahead. Mercury enters Uttara Phalguni at 1:19 am on Sunday the 29th, then reaches Virgo at 1:57 am on Tuesday the 31st — the lord of your seventh house arriving in that house exalted and in its own sign at once, into a seventh house that Mars vacated a week earlier. The Sun enters Purva Phalguni at 10:05 am, Jupiter reaches Purva Phalguni in the last hours of the month, and the second New Moon forms in your sixth house at 11:11 pm: a fresh start in the work-and-health house, dated the last night of August.

Career and Money for Meena Rashi

Career is a sixth-house month rather than a tenth-house month, and the distinction is worth understanding. Your tenth house is Sagittarius, empty all thirty-one days, ruled by that combust Jupiter. Your sixth house has four planets in it from the 17th, two exact conjunctions and a New Moon. The sixth is service, employees, competitors and the daily execution of a job; the tenth is status and recognition. August gives you the work and withholds the credit. Do the work anyway — a New Moon in the sixth on the 31st means it carries into September. See our career remedies page.

Money is tighter than the month’s activity suggests, and for a specific reason: your second house of income and savings holds a debilitated Saturn that turns retrograde on the 9th, while your sixth house of debt and obligation holds everything else. Income is stable and committed. The eleventh house of gains is the offset — Rahu there all month and a Full Moon there on the 17th, which is the month’s genuine windfall signal, most likely arriving through a network rather than through work.

Mars in your eighth house from 9:42 am on 24 August is the caution on shared money: joint accounts, loans, a partner’s finances, an inheritance matter. Settle what you can before that morning. Mercury reaching exaltation on the 31st is the first strong signal for contracts and negotiation, and it belongs to September. See our financial remedies page.

Home, Family and Partnership

Partnership improves in a definite sequence. Mars sits in your seventh house for the first twenty-three days — a malefic directly opposite your sign, which typically shows up as impatience in the other person and defensiveness in you. It leaves at 9:42 am on Tuesday 24 August. Then on the 31st the lord of that house arrives in it exalted. So the last week of August is materially better for the relationship than the first three, and the difference is structural rather than a matter of mood.

The wedding calendar is nonetheless shut on three independent grounds: Chaturmas covers all thirty-one days, Venus is combust from 6 July to 17 September, and Jupiter is combust from the 16th to 15 September. Both of those last two matter especially to Meena, since Jupiter is your ruler. The marriage muhurat page for August 2027 sets out the reasoning in full, and our marriage delay page covers what to do while the calendar is closed.

Family is where Saturn retrograde in your second house lands: immediate family, household money, and things said in the house. Expect an old family financial matter to reopen after the 9th, and take the debilitated Saturn in the house of speech literally — the sentence you regret this month will be one you said at home. Your fourth house is Gemini, empty and ruled by a Mercury that spends the month elsewhere, so property is not the theme; the griha pravesh page for August 2027 explains why the formal dates wait regardless.

Health

This is the health section that matters most in the batch, because for Meena the sixth house — the house of the body’s complaints — is exactly where the month piles up. Four planets in it from the 17th, two exact conjunctions in it, a New Moon in it on the 31st, and your ruler resident in it all month. That does not predict illness. It predicts attention: something the body has been raising quietly gets looked at properly.

Read Jupiter’s presence there as favourable and its combustion as a delay in feeling better rather than in getting better. The classical Meena weak points are the feet, the lymphatic system and sleep, and a debilitated Saturn in the second adds throat and teeth. Your Chandra window — 1:04 am on 20 August to 11:10 am on 22 August, fifty-eight hours six minutes — is the strongest stretch of the month for anything restorative, and brahma muhurta on the 20th, 21st and 22nd are its three best mornings. If a consultation has been deferred, the second half of the month is where it belongs.

Remedies for Meena Rashi in August 2027

Four conditions define the month: your ruler in your sixth house for all thirty-one days and combust there from the 16th, with three more planets joining it and a New Moon there on the 31st; six of the month’s eight exact conjunctions in your fifth house between the 4th and the 12th, with Ketu resident; Saturn debilitated in your second house and retrograde from 11:04 pm on the 9th; and the Full Moon of 12:58 pm on the 17th in your eleventh house of gains, where Rahu sits all month.

  • Guru practice on the four Thursdays — 5, 12, 19 and 26 August: your ruler is in the house of debt and disease all month and combust there on the last two of the four. Chana dal, turmeric, yellow cloth, and something taught to someone younger. See Guru remedies and Thursday fasting.
  • Use the first week for the fifth house: six exact conjunctions and a New Moon there, and nothing comparable for the rest of the year. Creative work, children, study, the person you are drawn to. After the 14th the same planets are working on your obligations instead.
  • Shani observance on the four Saturdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 August: debilitated and retrograde in your house of income and speech. Sesame oil, black til, mustard oil to a peepal after sundown, and service to someone older. See Shani remedies, Saturday fasting and the Shani dosh page.
  • Say less at home after the 9th: a debilitated retrograde Saturn in the second house is the house of speech and the house of family at once. Take the pairing at face value for a fortnight.
  • Finish one sixth-house matter: the claim, the repayment, the medical follow-up, the complaint written properly. Four planets and your own ruler in the house of overcoming is the best support August offers, and it is support for exactly this kind of task.
  • Take the eleventh-house opening on the 17th: a Full Moon in the house of gains, with Rahu there all month, is the month’s one uncomplicated positive. It usually arrives through a group or a near-stranger rather than through your own effort. See our Rahu–Ketu page.
  • Keep the 20th to the 22nd for anything that needs persuasion: fifty-eight hours with the Moon on Meena, opening three hours before Mercury meets Jupiter in your sixth house. It is the strongest stretch you have for a difficult conversation or a formal request.

In Summary

For Meena Rashi, August 2027 puts the month’s entire crowd into the one house you would not choose. Four planets stand in your sixth house of illness, debt and obligation from 2:07 pm on Tuesday 17 August; two exact conjunctions occur there, on the 20th and the 26th; the second New Moon of the month forms there at 11:11 pm on 31 August; and Jupiter, the ruler of your sign, is resident in that house for all thirty-one days and combust in it from 16 August to 15 September. Your defender is present and invisible.

The first half of the month is a different chart. Six of August’s eight exact conjunctions fall in your fifth house between the 4th and the 12th, with Ketu there all month, and the first New Moon forms there at 3:35 pm on Monday 2 August in Pushya. Then the same planets step one house forward and the register changes from creativity to obligation, with the hinge on the 14th to the 17th. The counterweight is the Full Moon of 12:58 pm on the 17th, in your eleventh house of gains, about thirteen and a half degrees from a Rahu that holds that house all month.

The month ends better than it runs. Mars vacates your seventh house at 9:42 am on 24 August after twenty-three days opposite your sign, and at 1:57 am on 31 August Mercury, the lord of that house, arrives in it both exalted and in its own sign, having crossed fifty-nine degrees and three of your houses to get there. Against that, Saturn sits debilitated in your second house of income and speech and turns retrograde at 11:04 pm on Monday 9 August. All of this is sign-level. Which of the nine Meena padas holds your natal Moon, where Jupiter and Saturn sit in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of it reaches you. For more, read July’s reading, what Meena Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our Shani dosh page.

Your ruler in the house of debt, and combust there

Whether four planets in your sixth house reads as a month of grinding obligation or a month of finally clearing it depends on which of your padas holds the natal Moon and where Jupiter sits in your own chart — a sign-level reading cannot settle that.
