Pisces Rashifal December 2027 (Meena Rashi): Saturn Turns Direct On Your Own Sign at 8:45 am on the Twenty-Fourth, at the Deepest Point of Its Retreat

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

Saturn is standing on Meena, and it has been going backwards. At 8:45 am on Friday 24 December it stops, at 26°50′ of Revati — and that degree is the lowest point of the entire retrograde. Saturn does not go further back than that. From that Friday morning it is moving forward again on your own sign.

Saturn on the janma rashi is the middle leg of Sade Sati, the one the classical texts treat as the peak. The three legs are Saturn’s passage through the twelfth house from your Moon sign, then the first, then the second — Aquarius, then Pisces, then Aries. You are in the middle of the middle. The retrograde has been the part where the same weight keeps being handed back to you, and on the 24th that stops.

It stops almost imperceptibly, which is worth knowing so you do not expect a bang. Saturn gains about three arcminutes — a twentieth of a degree — in the seven days between the station and the end of the year. What changes on the 24th is the direction, not the speed. The relief is real and it is slow.

The Last Pada of the Last Nakshatra

Saturn spends the whole of December inside Revati pada 4, which runs from 26°40′ to 30°00′ of Pisces. That is the final quarter of the final nakshatra of the zodiac — there is nothing after it but the start of Aries. Saturn moves from 27°16′ to 26°50′ across the month and never leaves that quarter.

Revati’s presiding deity is Pushan, the protector of travellers and the one who brings things safely to their destination, and the nakshatra’s whole character is completion — the last stretch of a journey rather than a new one. Saturn parked there for a month, at the end of the zodiac, in the peak leg of Sade Sati, is about as clear a picture of finishing something long as a transit chart gives you.

At 26°50′ Saturn is three degrees ten minutes from leaving Pisces altogether. So the peak leg genuinely is nearly done. This page will not tell you the date it ends, and the reason is a real limit rather than caution: Saturn is covering roughly two degrees a month, and at that speed the exact instant of a sign boundary crossing depends on the ayanamsa a table uses rather than on the solar system. It falls in 2028. A specific minute for it would be invented. Our Sade Sati page explains how the legs are counted.

One chain worth following: Revati’s ruling planet is Mercury, and Mercury is combust for every one of December’s thirty-one days. So the nakshatra lord of the Saturn sitting on your sign is burnt all month. That is the month’s explanation for why the pressure is hard to describe to anyone — the planet that would put it into words cannot be seen.

The Moon Crosses Saturn’s Degree on Mokshada Ekadashi

The Moon stands on Meena from 7:39 am on Tuesday 7 December to 5:26 pm on Thursday 9 December — fifty-seven hours forty-seven minutes, with Wednesday the 8th as its full day. Saturn sits near the end of the sign, at roughly ninety per cent of the way through it, so the Moon passes over Saturn’s own degree in the late morning of Thursday 9 December, shortly before it leaves.

That is given as a day rather than a time deliberately. The crossing is not a row in our conjunction table; it is worked out from the two positions, and the Moon covers roughly half a degree an hour, which makes the answer sensitive to exactly which Saturn degree you start from. The day is solid. The hour is not, so it is not printed.

Three things coincide there. Mokshada Ekadashi and Geeta Jayanti fall on Thursday 9 December. The nakshatra of that day is Revati — the nakshatra Saturn is standing in. And the Moon crosses Saturn on your own sign the same morning. Mokshada means release, and an Ekadashi that falls in Saturn’s nakshatra while the Moon passes over Saturn during the peak leg of Sade Sati is, for Meena specifically, the single most appropriate observance in the month. If you keep one fast in December, keep that one.

Your Ruler Aspects Your Own Sign Every Day

Jupiter, which rules Meena, sits in Virgo — your seventh house — for all thirty-one days, moving only 0°32′ to 3°03′ and never leaving Uttara Phalguni pada 2. Every planet aspects the seventh house from itself, so from your seventh house Jupiter is looking straight back at your own sign.

That is the single most important mitigating fact of your December. Your own ruler has its full aspect on the Saturn that is standing on your rashi, continuously, without a break, for the entire month. Sade Sati under a benefic aspect from the sign lord is a materially different experience from Sade Sati without one. It does not remove the weight. It means the weight is being carried rather than dropped.

Jupiter’s other two aspects, its fifth and ninth, fall on your eleventh house, where three bodies gather, and your third, where the Full Moon forms. So every event in your December is under your ruler’s eye.

The honest qualification is that Virgo is Mercury’s sign, and Mercury and Jupiter are not friends in the classical friendship table. This is not debilitation — Jupiter’s fall is in Capricorn, not here — but it is an unfriendly host, and it makes the support conditional rather than unconditional. Jupiter in an exacting sign helps the version of a thing that stands up to examination. Under Sade Sati, that is the version you want anyway.

Three Bodies Gather in Your Eleventh House

Capricorn is your eleventh house of income, gains and networks, and it fills up in the second half of the month. Rahu has held it all December, drifting backwards from 10°55′ to 9°17′ and retreating into Uttara Ashadha on Saturday 18 December — a day rather than a time, since the node covers about three arcminutes an hour. Venus arrives at 8:06 am on Wednesday 15 December and Mars at 12:57 pm on Monday 27 December, exalted from the crossing.

Venus reaches Rahu’s own degree, 9°44′, around Thursday 23 December. Again a day and not a minute: our table computes the node on the mean model, the mean and true node can stand as much as one and three-quarter degrees apart, and Venus covers a little over a degree a day — so the choice of model shifts the event by more than a day. The station on the 24th gets a minute because a station follows only from the geometry between the Earth and the planet. Precision here tracks what the data actually supports.

An eleventh house filling up during Sade Sati is genuinely good news, because the eleventh is where relief tends to arrive from: a payment, a contact, a group, an older friend. Venus with Rahu inflates the promise, so treat a figure quoted around the 23rd as optimistic. An exalted Mars from the 27th, under your ruler’s aspect, is the part that actually delivers. One correction: Mars never reaches Rahu’s degree in December. It enters at zero and gets to 3°29′ by the 31st, five degrees forty-eight minutes short of the node.

A Burnt Mercury in Your Ninth House, Then Your Tenth

Mercury is combust for all thirty-one days — about six degrees behind the Sun on the 1st, exact with it at 3:46 am on Sunday 12 December at 25°23′ of Scorpio in Jyeshtha pada 3, and still only about eleven degrees ahead on the 31st. It never leaves the twelve-degree orb the classical texts read as asta.

For Meena that happens in your ninth house of guidance, father, teachers and long journeys until 2:03 am on Wednesday 15 December, with the Sun there too until 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December. A burnt Mercury in the ninth is advice arriving incomplete — not wrong, but missing the condition that mattered. If you consult someone about the Sade Sati itself in the first fortnight, ask twice.

Both then move into your tenth house of career, where the New Moon forms at 1:42 am on Tuesday 28 December. Mercury covers 49°08′ this month, more ground than any other planet, so nothing is slow. A combust Mercury omits rather than delays: the agreement is made and the qualifying clause goes unmentioned. In a career house, read the whole document.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days from a Wednesday to a Friday, which leaves December with only four Saturdays — the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. Saturday is Saturn’s weekday, Saturn is on your sign, and it is retrograde for the first three of them. Only the last falls with the planet already moving forward.

1–7 December

A heavy opening week, with Saturn retrograde on your sign and the Moon arriving at the end of it. Venus enters Purva Ashadha at 8:22 pm on Wednesday the 1st, the Sun enters Jyeshtha at 1:28 pm on Friday the 3rd, Mars enters Purva Ashadha at 11:16 pm on Sunday the 5th, Mercury enters Jyeshtha at 2:24 pm on Monday the 6th, the Moon reaches Meena at 7:39 am on Tuesday the 7th. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December.

8–14 December

The week that matters most for observance. Wednesday the 8th is your full Chandra day; Mokshada Ekadashi and Geeta Jayanti fall on Thursday 9 December, when the Moon crosses Saturn’s degree on your sign before moving on at 5:26 pm; the Sun and Mercury are exact in your ninth house at 3:46 am on Sunday the 12th; the Full Moon forms in your third house at 9:38 pm on Monday the 13th.

15–21 December

The handover, and the quietest stretch of the month for you personally. Mercury moves into your tenth house at 2:03 am and Venus into your eleventh at 8:06 am on Wednesday the 15th; Dhanu Sankranti moves the Sun into your tenth at 4:33 pm on Thursday the 16th and starts Kharmas; Rahu retreats a nakshatra in your eleventh on Saturday the 18th. Nothing touches your sign this week. Use it to rest.

22–28 December

The month’s turning point. Venus meets Rahu’s degree in your eleventh house on Thursday the 23rd, with three nakshatra crossings the same day; Saturn turns direct on your own sign at 8:45 am on Friday the 24th; Mars arrives exalted in your eleventh at 12:57 pm on Monday the 27th; the New Moon forms in your tenth at 1:42 am on Tuesday the 28th. Saturday the 25th is the first Saturday in a long while with Saturn moving forward on your rashi.

29–31 December

Three days with Saturn direct on your sign, an exalted Mars in your income house, and your ruler aspecting both. The Sun enters Purva Ashadha at 6:44 pm on Wednesday the 29th. The best close to the year you have had for some time, though the improvement is measured in arcminutes rather than in feelings.

Career and Money for Meena Rashi

Career takes over the second half of the month. The Sun reaches your tenth house at 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December with a combust Mercury already there from the 15th, and the New Moon forms in the same house at 1:42 am on Tuesday 28 December. A tenth-house new moon four days after your ruler’s Saturn stops retreating is the right order of events for beginning something professional — not in the first fortnight, but in the last week.

Income is the eleventh house, and it is the month’s most favourable department: Rahu throughout, Venus from the 15th, an exalted Mars from the 27th, and your own ruler’s aspect on all of it for thirty-one days. Under Sade Sati that is where the practical relief comes from. The one caution is the Venus–Rahu meeting around the 23rd, which makes a promised figure look firmer than it is.

The exposure is documentation. Mercury is combust every day of December and governs your fourth and seventh houses, so property papers and anything involving a partner or a counterparty are where the omissions land. Read the whole thing, twice, and preferably after the 24th. Our financial remedies, career remedies and Shani dosh remedies pages cover the practice.

Home, Family and Partnership

Your seventh house holds Jupiter for the entire month, which is the best thing that can happen to a partnership during Sade Sati. A benefic in the seventh, aspecting your own sign, is a partner or a close counterpart carrying some of the weight for you. It is worth saying out loud that this is happening, because Sade Sati tends to make people withdraw from exactly the support that is available.

The Full Moon lands in your third house at 9:38 pm on Monday 13 December, which brings a sibling, a neighbour or a piece of communication to a head under Jupiter’s ninth aspect. Third-house lunations are usually small in scale and loud in feeling. This one has a benefic on it.

The wedding calendar closes at Dhanu Sankranti, 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December, and Kharmas runs to the middle of January, shutting sixteen of the month’s thirty-one days. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December. The marriage muhurat page for December 2027 has the surviving dates, the griha pravesh page has dates for a move, and our marriage delay page covers a stalled match.

Health

Saturn on the rashi during Sade Sati’s peak leg is the month’s whole health story, and its signature is depletion rather than illness — sleep that does not restore, stamina that runs out earlier than it used to, and a general sense of carrying weight. The retrograde has made that circular. The station at 8:45 am on Friday 24 December is where the circling stops, though remember the planet gains only about three arcminutes in the following week.

Your sixth house of illness, Leo, holds no planet and its lord is the Sun, which is in your ninth and then your tenth. That is neutral. The administrative caution is Mercury, combust all thirty-one days: referrals, results and authorisations are what go astray in a month like this, so confirm receipt in writing.

Meena’s standing weak points are the feet, the lymphatic system, sleep and the immune response, and Saturn on the sign presses on all four. Your Chandra window is 7:39 am on Tuesday 7 December to 5:26 pm on Thursday 9 December, with Wednesday the 8th as its full day and the Ekadashi at the end of it. Remedies for Meena Rashi in December 2027

Four conditions define the month: Saturn on your own sign in the peak leg of Sade Sati, turning direct at 8:45 am on 24 December at the deepest degree of its retreat; the Moon crossing Saturn’s degree on Thursday 9 December, which is Mokshada Ekadashi in Saturn’s own nakshatra; your ruler aspecting your sign from the seventh house for all thirty-one days; and Mercury combust throughout.

  • Keep the Ekadashi on the 9th if you keep only one thing: the Moon crosses Saturn on your own sign that morning, in Saturn’s own nakshatra, on the fast whose name means release.
  • Shani practice on the four Saturdays — 4, 11, 18 and 25 December: iron, sesame oil, black til, mustard oil to a peepal, and service to someone who cannot repay it. Saturn is on your sign and retrograde for three of the four.
  • Guru practice on the five Thursdays — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 December: yellow, chana dal, turmeric, and something given to a teacher or a student. Your ruler is the one thing aspecting your sign all month.
  • Rest in the third week: nothing touches your rashi between the 15th and the 21st, which makes it the only genuinely quiet stretch of the month.
  • Begin the professional thing after the 24th, not before: the tenth-house New Moon on the 28th falls four days after the station, in that order for a reason.
  • Treat a figure quoted around the 23rd as optimistic: Venus on Rahu’s degree in your income house firms up a promise that is not yet firm.
  • Do not expect the 24th to feel like anything: Saturn gains about three arcminutes in the week that follows. The direction changes; the speed does not.

In Summary

For Meena Rashi, December 2027 is the month Sade Sati’s peak leg stops going backwards. Saturn spends all thirty-one days on your own sign inside Revati pada 4 — the last quarter of the last nakshatra of the zodiac — moving from 27°16′ to 26°50′, and turns direct at 8:45 am on Friday 24 December at the lowest degree the whole retrograde reaches. It then gains about three arcminutes in the remaining week, so the change is one of direction rather than of pace.

On Thursday 9 December the Moon crosses Saturn’s degree on your sign, on a day that is both Mokshada Ekadashi and a Revati day — Saturn’s own nakshatra. Jupiter, your ruler, sits in your seventh house for the entire month and aspects your sign and that Saturn continuously. Your eleventh house gathers Rahu, Venus from 8:06 am on the 15th and an exalted Mars from 12:57 pm on the 27th, with Venus on the node’s degree around Thursday 23 December. Mercury is combust every day and exact with the Sun in your ninth house at 3:46 am on Sunday 12 December.

All of this is computed for a whole sign, which is thirty degrees of sky and a great many different lives. How heavily the peak leg of Sade Sati actually falls depends on where Saturn and Jupiter sit in your own chart, which of the nine Meena padas holds your natal Moon, and which dasha is running.
