Scorpio Rashifal August 2027 (Vrishchik Rashi): Three Exact Conjunctions Fall Inside the Moon’s Stay on Your Sign
Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji
The Moon is on Vrishchik Rashi from 1:06 am on Tuesday 10 August to 11:33 am on Thursday 12 August — fifty-eight hours twenty-seven minutes. August 2027 has eight exact conjunctions, against one in the whole of July 2027, and three of the eight fall inside that single window. No other sign’s Chandra window this month holds more than one.
Mercury is exact with Venus thirty-four hours fifty-three minutes after the window opens. The Sun is exact with Mercury four and a half hours later. And the Sun is exact with Venus — the deepest point of the seventy-three-day Shukra asta — fifty-two hours forty-four minutes in, with under six hours of the window left. Three exact conjunctions in eighteen hours, all of them while the Moon stands on your sign.
The second thing August does is fill your tenth house of career. Jupiter is in Leo all month; Mercury joins it at 11:50 am on Saturday 14 August, Venus at 9:29 am on Monday 16 August, and the Sun in its own sign at 2:07 pm on Tuesday 17 August — Simha Sankranti. Four planets in the tenth from that afternoon, and the second New Moon of the month forms there at 11:11 pm on Tuesday 31 August.
Fifty-Eight Hours With Three Conjunctions In Them
The three conjunctions all occur in Cancer, your ninth house, and all three within Ashlesha pada 3. Mercury meets Venus at 11:59 am on Wednesday 11 August at 23°57′. The Sun meets Mercury at 4:32 pm the same day at 24°20′. The Sun meets Venus at 5:50 am on Thursday 12 August at 24°52′. The Moon leaves Scorpio five hours forty-three minutes after the last of them.
Why the coincidence matters is simple mechanics. Transits describe the sky; the Moon describes when you are receptive to it. Events that fall while the Moon is on your own rashi tend to be felt rather than merely observed — and here three exact meetings of the three fastest visible planets land in a single day and a half of your own Chandra window. Whatever the 11th and 12th of August bring, Vrishchik will register it more sharply than the other eleven signs.
Practically: keep the 10th to the 12th free of anything mechanical. Use it for conversations, decisions about study or travel, and anything to do with a teacher or a father — because the ninth house is where all three conjunctions actually occur.
Six Exact Conjunctions in Your Ninth House, With Ketu There
Cancer holds the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Ketu through the first fortnight, and six of the month’s eight exact conjunctions happen there between the 4th and the 12th. The Sun is exact with Ketu at 6:07 am on Wednesday 4 August at 17°13′; Venus with Ketu at 11:15 pm on Thursday 5 August at 17°07′; Mercury with Ketu at 3:16 am on Sunday 8 August at 17°01′; then the three with each other on the 11th and 12th. The first New Moon of the month forms in the same house at 3:35 pm on Monday 2 August at 15°42′ of Cancer.
The ninth house is dharma, the father, the teacher, long journeys and the beliefs you inherited rather than chose. Ketu there for all thirty-one days, with three planets crossing it exactly, is one of the more spiritually loaded transits in the calendar — the classical reading is a loosening of inherited belief, not a loss of faith. Something you were taught stops being automatic.
On the practical side it points at the father, the guru, or a journey. Expect the ninth-house category of matter to occupy the first fortnight: a parent’s decision, a teacher’s advice, a pilgrimage or a course that has to be arranged. The New Moon of the 2nd is a reasonable date to begin a course of study; the days from the 4th to the 12th are when the subject declares itself. See our Ketu remedies and the Rahu–Ketu page.
Four Planets in Your Tenth House, and a New Moon There
Jupiter holds Leo — your tenth house — for the whole month, running from 6°54′ to 13°33′, crossing out of Magha and into Purva Phalguni in the last hours of August. Mercury arrives on the 14th, Venus on the 16th, and the Sun at Simha Sankranti on the 17th, in its own sign. Guru, Budh, Shukra and Surya together in the house of career and public standing is a strong arrangement by any reading.
Two exact conjunctions follow there: Mercury with Jupiter at 4:16 am on Friday 20 August at 10°59′ of Leo, and Venus with Jupiter at 8:29 am on Thursday 26 August at 12°19′. And the second New Moon of the month forms in the tenth at 11:11 pm on Tuesday 31 August at 13°54′ of Leo, in Purva Phalguni pada 1. Two New Moons in one calendar month is uncommon; for Vrishchik they land in your ninth and tenth houses, which for career purposes is the useful pair.
The limit is combustion. Venus is combust for all thirty-one days — Shukra asta runs 6 July to 17 September — and Jupiter is combust from 16 August to 15 September. So two of the four planets in your career house are invisible, and the Venus–Jupiter conjunction of the 26th is between two combust bodies. Read it as position before payment: the standing improves in August, the terms follow. Our career remedies page covers the pattern.
Saturn in Your Sixth: the Least Damaging Debilitation
Saturn is debilitated in Aries for all thirty-one days and turns retrograde at 11:04 pm on Monday 9 August, covering only 3°34′ to 3°13′ of Ashwini in the whole month. For Vrishchik that is the sixth house — and of the twelve possible places for a debilitated Saturn, the sixth is the kindest.
The sixth is an upachaya house, one of the three where a malefic gains rather than loses. Its subjects are debt, disease, adversaries and daily work, and a strong malefic there fights them for you. A debilitated Saturn is a weakened one, so the effect is muted — but the direction is still favourable: this is a good month for reducing a loan, closing a dispute, or dealing with a chronic complaint. Retrograde makes it retrospective, which for the sixth house is helpful: it is an old debt or an old adversary that resolves.
We publish the station to the minute and Saturn’s position only as a sign, and the reason is technical. A station is intrinsic to the geometry of the Earth and the planet, and does not move if you change ayanamsa. A sign crossing at 0.035 degrees a day does. One is defensible to the minute; the other is not. See our Shani remedies.
Your Ruler Moves From Gains to Expense
Mars rules Vrishchik, and it spends the first twenty-three days of August in Virgo, your eleventh house of gains, before crossing into Libra — your twelfth house of expense — at 9:42 am on Tuesday 24 August, the day of Krishna Janmashtami. It enters Chitra at 8:23 pm on Friday 13 August and stays in that nakshatra for the rest of the month, because Chitra straddles the Virgo–Libra boundary: your ruler changes house without changing nakshatra lord.
Mars in the eleventh is a good placement — the eleventh is the third upachaya house, and a malefic there produces gains through effort. The move to the twelfth on the 24th turns that effort into outflow. Read the month in two halves financially: earn through the first three weeks, spend in the last one, and expect the spending to be on something you chose rather than something imposed.
August also gives you five Tuesdays — the 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st. Mars rules Tuesday, so those are your days, and they are unusually well placed: the 10th opens your Chandra window, the 17th is Simha Sankranti and Purnima, the 24th is the day your ruler changes house, and the 31st carries both Mercury’s exaltation and the second New Moon. See Tuesday fasting and Mangal remedies.
The Month’s Fixed Points
- Sunday 1 August, 11:21 am — Mercury enters Pushya in your ninth house.
- Monday 2 August, 3:35 pm — the first New Moon forms in your ninth house at 15°42′ of Cancer, in Pushya pada 4. That day’s panchang.
- Tuesday 3 August, 4:26 pm — the Sun enters Ashlesha. The first of five Tuesdays.
- Wednesday 4 August, 6:07 am — the Sun is exact with Ketu at 17°13′ in your ninth house. Hariyali Teej falls on Wednesday 4 August.
- Thursday 5 August, 2:24 pm — Venus enters Ashlesha, and is exact with Ketu at 11:15 pm.
- Friday 6 August — Nag Panchami.
- Sunday 8 August, 3:16 am — Mercury is exact with Ketu at 17°01′ in your ninth house, the last of the three Ketu conjunctions.
- Monday 9 August, 11:04 pm — Saturn turns retrograde in your sixth house, debilitated. Panchang for the day.
- Tuesday 10 August, 1:06 am — the Moon arrives on Vrishchik Rashi for fifty-eight hours twenty-seven minutes, two hours after Saturn’s station.
- Wednesday 11 August, 11:59 am — Mercury is exact with Venus at 23°57′, thirty-four hours fifty-three minutes into your Chandra window; the Sun is exact with Mercury at 24°20′ at 4:32 pm.
- Thursday 12 August, 5:50 am — the Sun is exact with Venus at 24°52′: the deepest point of Shukra asta, fifty-two hours forty-four minutes into your window. The Moon leaves Scorpio at 11:33 am.
- Friday 13 August, 8:23 pm — Mars enters Chitra in your eleventh house.
- Saturday 14 August, 11:50 am — Mercury leaves your ninth house for your tenth and enters Magha. Ketu reverses into Pushya the same day, which we give as a day and not a minute: at 0.053 degrees a day, a printed time would be false precision.
- Monday 16 August, 9:29 am — Venus moves into your tenth house and enters Magha, combust. Guru asta begins: Jupiter is combust in your career house to 15 September.
- Tuesday 17 August, 12:58 pm — the Full Moon forms in your third house at the end of Capricorn, in Dhanishta pada 2. The Moon leaves Capricorn at 1:04 pm, six minutes later.
- Tuesday 17 August, 2:07 pm — Simha Sankranti: the Sun enters Leo, its own sign, and your tenth house, which now holds four planets. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August. Panchang for the day.
- Friday 20 August, 4:16 am — Mercury is exact with Jupiter at 10°59′ of Leo, in your tenth house.
- Saturday 21 August, 10:40 am — Mercury enters Purva Phalguni in your tenth house.
- Tuesday 24 August, 9:42 am — Mars, your ruler, leaves your eleventh house for your twelfth, without leaving Chitra. Krishna Janmashtami falls on Tuesday 24 August.
- Thursday 26 August, 8:29 am — Venus is exact with Jupiter at 12°19′ of Leo in your tenth house, with both combust.
- Friday 27 August, 4:03 am — Venus enters Purva Phalguni.
- Sunday 29 August, 1:19 am — Mercury enters Uttara Phalguni.
- Tuesday 31 August, 1:57 am — Mercury enters Virgo, exalted, in your eleventh house of gains. The Sun enters Purva Phalguni at 10:05 am, Jupiter reaches the same nakshatra in the last hours of the month, and the second New Moon forms in your tenth house at 11:11 pm. The fifth Tuesday. Panchang for the day.
Week by Week
Thirty-one days running Sunday to Tuesday. Five Sundays, five Mondays and five Tuesdays; four each of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Mars rules Tuesday, and all five of yours carry something: the 10th, the 17th, the 24th and the 31st each mark a change of house, sign or lunation.
1–7 August
A ninth-house week: the father, the teacher, and the question of what you actually believe. The first New Moon forms there at 3:35 pm on Monday the 2nd, the Sun crosses Ketu at 6:07 am on Wednesday the 4th, and Venus crosses the same point at 11:15 pm on Thursday the 5th. Hariyali Teej falls on Wednesday 4 August. Nag Panchami falls on Friday 6 August. Good week to enrol in something, or to make a journey you have deferred.
8–14 August
Your week, and the densest one of the month. Mercury crosses Ketu at 3:16 am on Sunday the 8th, Saturn turns retrograde in your sixth at 11:04 pm on Monday the 9th, and the Moon arrives on Vrishchik Rashi two hours later at 1:06 am on Tuesday the 10th. Then three exact conjunctions inside eighteen hours: two on Wednesday the 11th, at 11:59 am and 4:32 pm, and the deepest at 5:50 am on Thursday the 12th, with the Moon leaving your sign at 11:33 am. Mars enters Chitra at 8:23 pm on Friday the 13th, and Mercury changes house at 11:50 am on Saturday the 14th. Keep the 10th to the 12th for what matters.
15–21 August
The career week. Venus moves into your tenth house at 9:29 am on Monday the 16th and Guru asta begins the same day. Tuesday the 17th holds three events inside sixty-nine minutes: the Full Moon in your third house at 12:58 pm, the Moon out of Capricorn at 1:04 pm, and Simha Sankranti at 2:07 pm, which brings the Sun home to its own sign in your house of career and makes four planets there. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August. Mercury is exact with Jupiter in the tenth at 4:16 am on Friday the 20th. If you want to be seen at work, be visible this week.
22–28 August
The spending turn. Mars leaves your eleventh house for your twelfth at 9:42 am on Tuesday the 24th, Krishna Janmashtami — your ruler moving from gains to expense, and staying there past the end of the month. Venus is exact with Jupiter in your tenth house at 8:29 am on Thursday the 26th, both combust, and enters Purva Phalguni at 4:03 am on Friday the 27th. Career continues to build; the account starts to drain.
29–31 August
A strong close. Mercury enters Uttara Phalguni at 1:19 am on Sunday the 29th, then reaches Virgo and exaltation in your eleventh house of gains at 1:57 am on Tuesday the 31st. The Sun enters Purva Phalguni at 10:05 am, Jupiter reaches Purva Phalguni in the last hours of the month, and the second New Moon forms in your tenth house at 11:11 pm. Mercury owns your eleventh house as well as your eighth, so it arrives there exalted and in its own sign at once — and it does so on the same day a lunation forms in your career house. That is the best single day August gives Vrishchik.
Career and Money for Vrishchik Rashi
Career is the strongest department of the month and the arithmetic is unambiguous: four planets in your tenth house from 2:07 pm on 17 August, including the Sun in its own sign and Jupiter, two exact conjunctions there on the 20th and the 26th, and a New Moon there on the 31st. For public standing, promotion, visibility and being asked to take responsibility, this is the best fortnight Vrishchik has had in some time.
The discount is combustion: Venus for all thirty-one days, Jupiter from the 16th. Two of the four planets are invisible, which historically means the recognition arrives before the compensation. Do not read a quiet payslip as a failed month. The New Moon of the 31st is the right date to begin the next professional cycle, not the 2nd.
Money has a clean shape. Mars sits in your eleventh house of gains for the first twenty-three days — an upachaya house where a malefic works for you — then leaves for your twelfth on the 24th, after which expenditure rises. Mercury arrives exalted in that same eleventh house at 1:57 am on 31 August and stays into September, which is a genuinely good forward signal. Meanwhile Saturn retrograde in your sixth makes August a favourable month for reducing a loan or settling an old dispute. See our financial remedies page.
Home, Family and Partnership
Your seventh house is Taurus, empty for the whole month, ruled by a Venus that is combust for all thirty-one days and spends the second half in your tenth house rather than in the house it owns. Partnership is therefore quiet and slightly neglected — not troubled, but not tended either, largely because the tenth house is taking all your attention. The correction is deliberate rather than astrological: put something in the diary for the partner in the week of the 17th, when you will least want to.
The wedding calendar is shut on three independent grounds: Chaturmas covers all thirty-one days, Venus is combust to 17 September, and Jupiter is combust from the 16th to 15 September. The marriage muhurat page for August 2027 sets out the arithmetic in full. Nothing is available and nothing is being missed.
Home and siblings carry the Full Moon. The lunation of 12:58 pm on Tuesday 17 August forms at the very end of Capricorn, in the closing minutes of Dhanishta pada 2, in your third house of siblings, courage and short journeys, where Rahu also sits all month at roughly 16°30′ on that date — about thirteen and a half degrees away, the same house and not a conjunction. Raksha Bandhan falls on Tuesday 17 August, and the Purnima tithi it needs ends at the Full Moon itself, which makes a Full Moon in your house of siblings on the festival of siblings a neat coincidence worth using. Your fourth house is Aquarius, empty, ruled by the same debilitated Saturn; home is stable and unexciting. See the griha pravesh page for August 2027.
Health
The favourable note is Saturn in your sixth house. The sixth is where illness is fought rather than suffered, and a retrograde Saturn there — even debilitated — supports the treatment of something long-standing. If a chronic complaint has been managed rather than addressed, August is a reasonable month to address it.
The caution is the 10th to the 12th. Three exact conjunctions inside your Chandra window, in your ninth house, is intense rather than dangerous, but it disturbs sleep and appetite for two days. Your window runs from 1:06 am on 10 August to 11:33 am on 12 August; brahma muhurta on the 10th, 11th and 12th, with the Moon on Vrishchik, are the three strongest mornings of the month. From the 24th, with Mars in your twelfth, energy dips and rest becomes more necessary than usual.
Remedies for Vrishchik Rashi in August 2027
Four conditions define the month: three of the eight exact conjunctions falling inside the Moon’s stay on your sign, from 1:06 am on the 10th to 11:33 am on the 12th; six of the eight occurring in your ninth house between the 4th and the 12th with Ketu there; your tenth house of career filling to four planets from 2:07 pm on the 17th and taking a lunation on the 31st; and a debilitated Saturn turning retrograde in your sixth house on the 9th.
- Mangal practice on the five Tuesdays — 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 August: Mars rules Vrishchik and changes house on the 24th, from gains to expense. Hanuman Chalisa, red lentils, and a jaggery offering. See Tuesday fasting and Mangal remedies.
- Keep the 10th to the 12th deliberate: three exact conjunctions inside your own Chandra window is the month’s most concentrated stretch. Nothing mechanical, nothing rushed, and no argument you cannot walk away from.
- Guru observance on the Thursdays — 5, 12, 19 and 26 August: Jupiter holds your career house all month and goes combust there from the 16th, exactly when the house fills. Chana dal, turmeric, yellow cloth. See Guru remedies and Thursday fasting.
- Ninth-house observance in the first fortnight: six exact conjunctions with Ketu in the house of the father and the teacher. Touch the feet of a parent or a guru, and give something to a teacher. See our Ketu remedies.
- Use the sixth house while it is open: Saturn retrograde in your sixth for the whole month favours reducing a debt, closing a dispute or treating a long-standing complaint. Choose one and finish it in August.
- Shani observance on the Saturdays — 7, 14, 21 and 28 August: Saturn is debilitated, and although the sixth house is its least damaging placement it still rules your third and fourth houses. Sesame oil, black til, mustard oil to a peepal after sundown. See Saturday fasting.
- Budget from the 24th: your ruler moves into your twelfth house that morning and stays. Decide in advance what the last week’s spending is for, and it will be spending rather than loss.
In Summary
For Vrishchik Rashi, August 2027 has a two-day centre and a two-week payoff. The Moon is on your sign from 1:06 am on Tuesday 10 August to 11:33 am on Thursday 12 August, and three of the month’s eight exact conjunctions fall inside those fifty-eight hours — Mercury with Venus and the Sun with Mercury on the 11th, and the Sun with Venus at 5:50 am on the 12th, the deepest point of Shukra asta. No other sign’s window holds more than one.
All six of the Cancer conjunctions occur in your ninth house of dharma, the father and the teacher, between the 4th and the 12th, with Ketu there for all thirty-one days — a first fortnight about inherited belief and the people who taught you. Then your tenth house of career fills: Jupiter throughout, Mercury from the 14th, Venus from the 16th, and the Sun in its own sign from Simha Sankranti at 2:07 pm on 17 August, with two more conjunctions there and the second New Moon at 11:11 pm on 31 August.
The costs are modest by comparison: Venus combust all month and Jupiter from the 16th, so career recognition outpaces payment; Mars moving from your eleventh house to your twelfth at 9:42 am on 24 August; and a debilitated Saturn retrograde in your sixth from 11:04 pm on 9 August, which is the least damaging place it could be and is genuinely useful against old debt. All of this is sign-level. Which of the nine Scorpio padas holds your natal Moon, where Mars sits in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of it lands. For more, read July’s reading, what Vrishchik Rashi settles and what the pada decides, and our career remedies page.
Three exact conjunctions inside your Chandra window
Whether fifty-eight hours carrying three conjunctions reaches you as clarity or as overload depends on which of your padas holds the natal Moon and where Mars sits in your own chart — a sign-level reading cannot settle that.
