Taurus Rashifal December 2027 (Vrishabha Rashi): The Full Moon Forms On Your Own Sign in Its Very Last Pada

Published 2026-08-22 | Live Pandit Ji

Twelve times a year a Full Moon happens somewhere in the zodiac, and once a year it happens on your own sign. For Vrishabha Rashi that once is 9:38 pm on Monday 13 December 2027, and it is a sharper event than the annual average, because of where in the sign it lands and how little time it has left there.

The Moon is at 27°12′ of Taurus when it opposes the Sun. That is inside Mrigashira pada 2, which runs from 26°40′ to 30°00′ of the sign — the last quarter of the last nakshatra Vrishabha holds. The lunation stands two degrees forty-eight minutes from the boundary, and the Moon crosses out of your sign at 2:21 am on Tuesday the 14th, four hours forty-three minutes after the aspect is exact.

There is a second thread worth pulling. Mrigashira’s ruling planet is Mars, and Mars reaches Capricorn and its own exaltation at 12:57 pm on Monday 27 December. So the nakshatra that holds the Full Moon on your sign and the planet that gets strong two weeks later are the same planet. That is a real link in the chart rather than a poetic one, and it is the reason this page treats the 13th as an opening rather than a conclusion.

A Lunation On Your Sign, and What It Actually Does

A Full Moon on the rashi means the Sun is opposite it, in your seventh house. That is the geometry of the event: you on one side of the axis, everyone you deal with on the other. The Moon in a full phase on your own sign brings whatever you have been carrying to the surface — not as a crisis but as visibility. Things you had been managing privately become legible to other people, and often to you.

The pada placement adds something. Mrigashira pada 2 is the last pada of Vrishabha, and the nakshatra continues into Gemini rather than ending at the sign boundary. Mrigashira is a searching nakshatra — the deer’s head, the one that goes looking. A Full Moon there is restless rather than settled. If you expected the annual lunation on your own earth sign to feel like arrival, it will feel more like the moment you decide to go and find out.

The Moon is on Vrishabha from 11:27 pm on Saturday 11 December to 2:21 am on Tuesday the 14th — fifty hours fifty-four minutes, with Sunday the 12th and Monday the 13th as its two full days. The lunation falls forty-six hours eleven minutes into that stay. Practically, that means the whole of your Chandra window this month is charged, and it ends almost immediately after the peak. Sunday and Monday are the two days to keep clear.

Your Seventh House Holds a Burnt Mercury and the Sun

The other side of that axis is occupied, and it matters. The Sun holds Scorpio, your seventh house, until 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December. Mercury is there until 2:03 am on Wednesday 15 December. And Mercury is combust for every one of December’s thirty-one days: it starts the month about six degrees from the Sun, comes to the Sun’s exact degree at 3:46 am on Sunday 12 December — 25°23′ of Scorpio, in Jyeshtha pada 3 — and is still only about eleven degrees away on the 31st, never leaving the twelve-degree orb the classical texts treat as asta.

Read that with the Full Moon and the picture is unusually specific. The exact Sun–Mercury conjunction happens in your seventh house thirty-six hours before the lunation lands on your first. So the partner side of the axis is loud but unclear for the whole first fortnight, and then the light swings to your side.

What that means in practice: the conversation about a partnership — marital or commercial — is likely to be initiated by the other side, in the first half of December, in terms that turn out to be incomplete. A combust Mercury in the seventh does not lie; it omits. Ask for the parts that were left out, and do not settle anything in writing before the 15th. Our seventh house page covers the placement in general.

Your Ruler Moves to the Ninth and Meets Rahu There

Venus rules Vrishabha, and it spends the first fortnight in your eighth house before reaching Capricorn, your ninth, at 8:06 am on Wednesday 15 December. That is a straightforward improvement: the eighth is the house of what is hidden and jointly owned, the ninth is the house of teachers, travel, law and belief, and a ruler prefers the second to the first.

But Rahu has held Capricorn all month, drifting backwards from 10°55′ to 9°17′ and reversing out of Shravana into Uttara Ashadha on Saturday 18 December. Around Thursday 23 December, Venus arrives at the node’s own degree, 9°44′ of Capricorn.

That pairing is given as a day rather than a clock time, and the reason is a real limit rather than caution. Our table computes the node’s position on the mean model. Mean and true node can sit as much as one and three-quarter degrees apart, and Venus covers a little over a degree a day, so the other model would move the event by more than a day. Where the arithmetic supports a minute we print one. Here it does not.

Venus with Rahu in the ninth house inflates conviction. A teacher looks more authoritative, a foreign opportunity looks more certain, a belief looks more obviously correct. None of that has to be false — but the confidence arrives ahead of the evidence. If you commit to a course, a guru or a trip in the last week of December, commit to a reversible version of it. Our Rahu–Ketu remedies page covers the node.

Jupiter Aspects Your Sign for All Thirty-One Days

Jupiter sits in Virgo, your fifth house, for the whole month, and it barely moves: 0°32′ to 3°03′, two and a half degrees in thirty-one days, never leaving Uttara Phalguni pada 2. A planet throws its fifth, seventh and ninth aspects, and from the fifth house Jupiter’s ninth lands on the first. So your own sign is under Jupiter’s aspect for every day of December, including the day the Full Moon forms there.

That is the most protective feature of the month and it is easy to overlook because nothing about it changes. Jupiter aspecting the rashi steadies the lunation: it makes the surfacing on the 13th useful rather than merely emotional. Jupiter in the fifth also favours children, study and creative output, and its seventh aspect falls on your eleventh house of income and networks, where Saturn sits.

Saturn Turns Direct in Your Eleventh House

Saturn holds Pisces, your eleventh house of gains and networks, for all thirty-one days, inside Revati pada 4 throughout — the last quarter of the last nakshatra of the zodiac. It drifts backwards from 27°16′ to 26°50′ and then turns direct at 8:45 am on Friday 24 December.

A station is published to the minute on this site while a slow ingress is not, and the distinction is worth knowing. The moment a planet’s apparent motion reverses depends on the geometry between the Earth and that planet and on nothing else. A sign boundary crossing at twenty-six arcminutes a month depends on where the boundary is drawn, which depends on the ayanamsa. One is intrinsic. The other is conventional.

Saturn retrograde in the eleventh has been the transit of income that arrives late and networks that go quiet: the invoice unpaid, the introduction that never converted, the group you drifted out of. From the 24th it moves forward. What was owed starts to come, slowly, on Saturn’s schedule rather than yours.

The Month’s Fixed Points

  • Wednesday 1 December — the Sun at 14°04′ of Anuradha and a combust Mercury at 7°52′ in your seventh house; Venus at 12°17′ and Mars at 9°33′ in your eighth; Jupiter at 0°32′ in your fifth; Saturn retrograde at 27°16′ in your eleventh; Rahu in your ninth, Ketu in your third. Venus enters Purva Ashadha at 8:22 pm.
  • Friday 3 December, 1:28 pm — the Sun enters Jyeshtha in your seventh house. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December, on your ruler’s own weekday.
  • Sunday 5 December, 11:16 pm — Mars enters Purva Ashadha in your eighth house.
  • Monday 6 December, 2:24 pm — Mercury enters Jyeshtha in your seventh house.
  • Thursday 9 December — Mokshada Ekadashi and Geeta Jayanti.
  • Saturday 11 December, 11:27 pm — the Moon arrives on Vrishabha Rashi for fifty hours fifty-four minutes.
  • Sunday 12 December, 3:46 am — the Sun and Mercury are exact at 25°23′ of Scorpio in your seventh house, in Jyeshtha pada 3. Venus enters Uttara Ashadha in your eighth at 3:15 pm. Panchang for the day.

  • Tuesday 14 December, 2:21 am — the Moon leaves your sign, four hours forty-three minutes after the lunation.
  • Wednesday 15 December, 2:03 am — Mercury leaves your seventh house for your eighth, entering Moola; Venus reaches your ninth house at 8:06 am.

  • Saturday 18 December — Rahu reverses from Shravana into Uttara Ashadha in your ninth house, given as a day because the node moves about three arcminutes an hour.
  • Thursday 23 December — Venus is exact with Rahu at 9°44′ of Capricorn in your ninth house, give or take a day depending on whether the mean or the true node is used. Mars enters Uttara Ashadha at 6:12 am, Venus enters Shravana at 11:02 am, Mercury enters Purva Ashadha at 11:53 am.
  • Friday 24 December, 8:45 am — Saturn turns direct in your eleventh house at 26°50′ of Revati.

  • Friday 31 December — the year ends with Venus at 20°29′ and an exalted Mars at 3°29′ in your ninth house beside Rahu at 9°17′, the Sun and Mercury in your eighth, Jupiter at 3°03′ in your fifth, Saturn direct in your eleventh.

Week by Week

Thirty-one days running Wednesday to Friday. There are five Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and only four Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays — and the two Mondays that matter for you are the 13th, when the lunation lands, and the 27th, when Mars is exalted.

1–7 December

A slow week with the cast unchanged and Mercury already inside the Sun’s glare in your seventh house. Venus enters Purva Ashadha at 8:22 pm on Wednesday the 1st, the Sun enters Jyeshtha at 1:28 pm on Friday the 3rd, Mars enters Purva Ashadha at 11:16 pm on Sunday the 5th, and Mercury enters Jyeshtha at 2:24 pm on Monday the 6th. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December. Use the week to prepare rather than to conclude.

8–14 December

Your week. Mokshada Ekadashi and Geeta Jayanti fall on Thursday 9 December; the Moon reaches your sign at 11:27 pm on Saturday the 11th; the Sun and Mercury are exact in your seventh house at 3:46 am on Sunday the 12th, with Venus changing nakshatra at 3:15 pm; the Full Moon forms on Vrishabha at 9:38 pm on Monday the 13th; the Moon leaves at 2:21 am on Tuesday the 14th. Four events in four days, all on the same axis.

15–21 December

The handover week. Mercury crosses into your eighth house at 2:03 am and Venus into your ninth at 8:06 am on Wednesday the 15th; the Sun follows at 4:33 pm on Thursday the 16th, bringing Kharmas with it; Rahu reverses nakshatra on Saturday the 18th. Your seventh house is empty from the evening of the 16th, and the pressure on the partnership axis comes off with it.

22–28 December

The heaviest week of the month for events. Venus meets Rahu’s degree in your ninth house on Thursday the 23rd, with three nakshatra crossings the same day; Saturn turns direct in your eleventh at 8:45 am on Friday the 24th; Mars arrives exalted in your ninth at 12:57 pm on Monday the 27th; the New Moon forms in your eighth at 1:42 am on Tuesday the 28th. Your ninth house ends the week holding Venus, an exalted Mars and Rahu together.

29–31 December

Three days with a strong ninth house, Saturn moving forward and Jupiter still aspecting your sign. The Sun enters Purva Ashadha at 6:44 pm on Wednesday the 29th. Plans about study, travel or law made now carry into a January that supports them.

Career and Money for Vrishabha Rashi

Your tenth house, Aquarius, takes no graha in December beyond the Moon’s ordinary passage, so career does not move by direct transit this month. What moves it indirectly is the eleventh house, where Saturn turns direct at 8:45 am on Friday 24 December, and Jupiter’s seventh aspect from your fifth, which falls on that same eleventh house all month. Income and network, not position and title.

So chase what is owed rather than what is next. A retrograde Saturn in the eleventh is the signature of receivables that stall; the station is the point at which chasing them starts to work. Send the reminder in the last week of December rather than the first.

The money caution is Mercury. It is combust for all thirty-one days and it sits in your seventh house until the 15th and your eighth after it — partnership money and then joint money, which is the whole of the shared ledger. Do not sign a partnership agreement, a loan, an insurance claim or a tax position this month. Our financial remedies and career remedies pages cover the practice.

Home, Family and Partnership

Partnership is the month’s live subject, because the Full Moon on your sign puts the Sun in your seventh and because Mercury is burnt there for the whole first fortnight. Expect a conversation you did not schedule, arriving from the other side, in incomplete terms. The correct response is questions rather than answers, and the correct timing is after the 15th.

The wedding calendar shuts mid-month. Dhanu Kharmas begins at Dhanu Sankranti, 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December, and runs into the middle of January, so sixteen of December’s thirty-one days are closed. Vivah Panchami falls on Friday 3 December, inside the open fortnight and on Venus’s own day, which for a Venus-ruled sign is a genuinely apt coincidence. The marriage muhurat page for December 2027 has the surviving dates, and our marriage delay page covers a stalled match.

At home, Ketu holds Cancer, your third house, in Pushya all month. The third is siblings, neighbours and short journeys, and Ketu there reads as distance from exactly those — the sibling you have not called, the local circle you have quietly left. Nothing forces it this month; it simply continues. Jupiter in your fifth favours children and their education for all thirty-one days, and the child samskaras page has dates.

Health

Libra, your sixth house of illness, takes no graha this month, which is the quiet good news. The Full Moon on your own sign is the thing to manage instead: a lunation on the rashi tends to disturb sleep and raise emotional volume for a day either side, and this one falls at the end of your Chandra window rather than the middle, so the 12th and 13th carry it.

Mercury combust for all thirty-one days is the administrative caution: tests, referrals, insurance authorisations and second opinions are the things that go astray in a month like this. Confirm receipt of everything in writing, and keep your own copy. Jupiter in your fifth aspects your first house all month, which favours recovery and treatment that works.

Vrishabha’s standing weak points are the throat, the neck and the thyroid, and Venus is your ruler, so the practices that help are the Venus ones. Read our Venus remedies, Friday fasting and Moon strengthening pages — the last one is the relevant page for a month whose headline is a lunation.

Remedies for Vrishabha Rashi in December 2027

Four conditions shape the month: the Full Moon on your own sign at 9:38 pm on 13 December in the final pada of Vrishabha; a Mercury combust for all thirty-one days and exact with the Sun in your seventh house at 3:46 am on the 12th; your ruler reaching your ninth house at 8:06 am on the 15th and meeting Rahu there around Thursday 23 December; and Saturn turning direct in your eleventh at 8:45 am on the 24th.

  • Keep the 12th and 13th light: the annual lunation on your own sign falls at the close of your Chandra window, and the Sun–Mercury conjunction in your seventh house is exact thirty-six hours before it.
  • Offer white on the four Mondays — 6, 13, 20 and 27 December: rice, milk, white cloth. The 13th is the Full Moon on your rashi and the 27th is Mars’s exaltation.
  • Shukra practice on the five Fridays — 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 December: white flowers, sweets, cleanliness, kindness to women in the household. Your ruler changes house and meets a node this month.
  • Sign no partnership or joint-money document in December: Mercury is combust for every one of the thirty-one days, in your seventh house then your eighth.
  • Chase receivables after the 24th, not before: Saturn turns direct in your eleventh house of income at 8:45 am on Friday the 24th.
  • Take the 23rd’s conviction at half strength: Venus on Rahu’s degree in the ninth makes a teacher, a trip or a belief look more certain than the evidence supports.
  • Fix nothing to the marriage calendar after the 16th: Kharmas runs from Dhanu Sankranti to the middle of January.

In Summary

For Vrishabha Rashi, December 2027 turns on a single event that happens once a year and happens here with unusual precision. The Full Moon forms on your own sign at 9:38 pm on Monday 13 December at 27°12′, inside Mrigashira pada 2, the last pada Vrishabha holds — two degrees forty-eight minutes from the boundary, and four hours forty-three minutes before the Moon crosses out of the sign at 2:21 am on the 14th. Mrigashira’s lord is Mars, and Mars reaches its own exaltation at 12:57 pm on Monday 27 December.

Around it: the Sun in your seventh house until 4:33 pm on Thursday 16 December with a Mercury that is combust for all thirty-one days and exact with it at 3:46 am on Sunday 12 December; your ruler Venus into your ninth house at 8:06 am on Wednesday 15 December and on Rahu’s degree there around Thursday 23 December; Saturn turning direct in your eleventh at 8:45 am on Friday 24 December; Jupiter aspecting your own sign from your fifth house for every day of the month; and the New Moon in your eighth at 1:42 am on Tuesday 28 December.

All of this is computed for a whole sign, which is thirty degrees of sky and a great many different lives. Which of the nine Vrishabha padas holds your natal Moon, where Venus sits in your own chart, and which dasha is running decide how much of the 13th you actually feel. The annual Full Moon on your own sign

Which house of your own chart the 13th actually lights up depends on your birth time, the pada that holds your natal Moon, and the dasha you are running.
