Planetary Transits November 2026: Grah Gochar Dates

November 2026 is a busy month in the sky. Two grahas finish retrograde stretches, Venus makes a short trip back into Virgo and out again, Mars crosses into Leo to join Jupiter, and the Sun moves into Scorpio. This page lists all of it in order. Every date and time comes from the site’s ingress table, computed from the JPL DE421 ephemeris in the sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsa) and given in Indian Standard Time.

Where the Grahas Stand on 1 November 2026

The month opens with three grahas moving backwards: Mercury, Venus and Saturn, besides Rahu and Ketu, which always move that way in the table. By 1 December only Saturn is still retrograde, because Mercury and Venus both turn direct in the middle of the month. Jupiter is only a few arcminutes into Leo: it crosses over on 31 October 2026, the day before the month begins. The degree column is left blank for the nodes because the table computes them as mean nodes, a formula rather than an observed position.

Every Planetary Transit in November 2026, Day by Day

Only sign changes and the two lunations carry a clock time. A station is the point where a graha stands still before reversing, so the exact minute it turns is soft by nature and the table gives the day. Nakshatra changes and the conjunction are given as days as well. Jupiter and Mars each pass Ketu in Leo during the month, but the table’s Ketu is a mean node, so those two meetings are not dated here. Venus: Seventeen Days Back in Virgo

Venus has been retrograde since 3 October 2026, when it stood still in Libra. Moving backwards, it slips into Virgo at 01:15 IST on 6 November 2026. It turns direct there on 14 November 2026 and recrosses the same boundary forwards at 17:09 IST on 22 November 2026. That is 17 days in Virgo. Mercury Turns Direct in Libra on 13 November

Mercury went retrograde in Libra on 24 October 2026 and never leaves the sign while reversing. On 4 November 2026, with Mercury still moving backwards, the Sun and Mercury reach the same longitude in Libra. Mercury turns direct on 13 November 2026. Its nakshatra changes twice: back into Swati on 3 November, then forwards into Vishakha on 25 November. It ends the month still in Libra and enters Scorpio on 2 December 2026, which the Mercury in Scorpio page takes up.

Mars Enters Leo, Where Jupiter and Ketu Already Are

Mars leaves Cancer, which the same tables give as its sign of debilitation, and enters Leo at 20:10 IST on 12 November 2026. Leo begins exactly where Magha nakshatra begins, so Mars enters Magha at the same moment. From then until Ketu moves back into Cancer on 5 December 2026, three grahas share Leo: Mars, Jupiter and Ketu. Mars, the faster of the two, catches up with Jupiter on 16 November 2026, when they stand at the same longitude.

The Sun Moves Into Scorpio on 16 November

The Sun crosses from Libra into Scorpio at 19:39 IST on 16 November 2026. Before that it moves from Swati into Vishakha on 6 November, and after it into Anuradha on 20 November. The time given here is when the Sun crosses into the sign. It is not the observance day of the month’s solar festival, which follows its own rule; the Sun in Scorpio page explains the difference.

Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu Hold Their Signs

None of the four slow grahas changes sign in November. Saturn has been retrograde in Pisces since 27 July 2026 and stays retrograde all month; it turns direct on 11 December 2026. Jupiter moves direct through Leo for the whole of November and turns retrograde on 13 December 2026. The New Moon and the Full Moon

The new Moon falls at 12:32 IST on 9 November 2026, in Libra and Vishakha nakshatra. The full Moon is at 20:23 IST on 24 November 2026, with the Moon in Taurus and Krittika. Festivals are not dated by these instants. They follow the tithi in force at a set time of day, which is why the site’s festival table puts Diwali on 8 November 2026, the day before the new Moon instant, while Kartik Purnima falls on 24 November 2026, the same day as the full Moon. Gochar is read by house, and the house is counted from your Moon sign, starting with the Moon sign itself as the 1st. An arrow means the graha changes sign during the month, and so changes house. Each Moon sign links to its November 2026 rashifal.

Read one row as an example.
