Venus in Leo is in an enemy's sign. Leo is ruled by the Sun, and Venus counts the Sun an enemy.

• 16 August 2027 to 9 September 2027 — 24 days, after which Venus moves on to Virgo.

Dates rather than clock times, because that is what a placement question needs. The ingress instants are computed and are printed on the monthly readings, where they matter for choosing a day.

Venus also combusts: within 10° of the Sun when direct, 8° when retrograde. A combust Venus in Leo is read as weakened whatever the dignity above says, which is the standard case where the textbook verdict and the actual sky disagree.

Reading Venus in Leo

Venus signifies marriage, the wife in a man's chart, vehicles, art, music, luxury, hotels, cosmetics. In Leo those significations are filtered through a sthira fire sign ruled by the Sun, and the dignity above says how much support they get in the process.
