The 6th Lord for Leo Ascendant: Saturn
6th house = Capricorn · lord Saturn · also lord of the 7th
With Leo rising, the 6th house is Capricorn, the 6th sign counted from Leo, and Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. So for Leo ascendant the 6th lord is Saturn, which also rules the 7th through Aquarius: one graha holds the 6th and the 7th together for this ascendant. The 6th is a dusthana and an upachaya, and the 7th a kendra.
The lagna lord, the Sun, and the 6th lord, Saturn, count each other an enemy for Leo ascendant. The 6th’s matters are debts and loans, service and routine and enemies; with Leo rising they sit in Capricorn, a movable earth sign that is the 10th of the natural zodiac.
Capricorn as the 6th House of Leo Ascendant
Capricorn exalts Mars, deepest at 28°, so for Leo ascendant Mars is exalted in the 6th; it debilitates Jupiter at 5°, so Jupiter is debilitated in the 6th. The house holds Uttara Ashadha (padas 2, 3 and 4), Shravana (all four padas) and Dhanishta (padas 1 and 2), whose lords are the Sun, the Moon and Mars; Saturn rules none of them. Opposite, across the chart, the 12th holds Cancer, ruled by the Moon.
Where Saturn Is Strong and Weak, as Houses of Leo Ascendant
Counted from Leo, Saturn is exalted in the 3rd, debilitated in the 9th, and in its own sign in the 6th and the 7th. Exaltation and debilitation are always six signs apart, so for Leo ascendant the 6th lord’s best and worst houses face each other across the chart.

Each row links to the placement worked out for all twelve ascendants, where Leo is one line of twelve. None of this is a forecast for anyone born with Leo rising; where Saturn actually sits, its aspects and the running dasha decide what the 6th lord does in a chart.
Saturn Through the 6th and Its Exaltation House, 2026–2028
