The 11th Lord for Sagittarius Ascendant: Venus
11th house = Libra · lord Venus · also lord of the 6th
With Sagittarius rising, the 11th house is Libra, the 11th sign counted from Sagittarius, and Libra is ruled by Venus. So for Sagittarius ascendant the 11th lord is Venus, which also rules the 6th through Taurus: one graha holds the 11th and the 6th together for this ascendant. The 11th is an upachaya, and the 6th a dusthana and an upachaya.
The lagna lord, Jupiter, counts Venus an enemy, while Venus counts Jupiter neutral: for Sagittarius ascendant the 1st and 11th lords do not see each other the same way. The 11th’s matters are income and gains, friends and networks, aspirations and elder siblings; with Sagittarius rising they sit in Libra, a movable air sign that is the 7th of the natural zodiac.
Libra as the 11th House of Sagittarius Ascendant
Libra exalts Saturn, deepest at 20°, so for Sagittarius ascendant Saturn is exalted in the 11th; it debilitates the Sun at 10°, so the Sun is debilitated in the 11th. The house holds Chitra (padas 3 and 4), Swati (all four padas) and Vishakha (padas 1, 2 and 3), whose lords are Mars, Rahu and Jupiter; Venus rules none of them. Opposite, across the chart, the 5th holds Aries, ruled by Mars.
