The 6th Lord for Virgo Ascendant: Saturn
6th house = Aquarius · lord Saturn · also lord of the 5th
With Virgo rising, the 6th house is Aquarius, the 6th sign counted from Virgo, and Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. So for Virgo ascendant the 6th lord is Saturn, which also rules the 5th through Capricorn: one graha holds the 6th and the 5th together for this ascendant. The 6th is a dusthana and an upachaya, and the 5th a trikona.
The lagna lord, Mercury, counts Saturn neutral, while Saturn counts Mercury a friend: for Virgo ascendant the 1st and 6th lords do not see each other the same way. The 6th’s matters are debts and loans, service and routine and enemies; with Virgo rising they sit in Aquarius, a fixed air sign that is the 11th of the natural zodiac.
Aquarius as the 6th House of Virgo Ascendant
Aquarius exalts no graha in signs.js, so no graha is exalted in the 6th for Virgo ascendant, and it debilitates none. The house holds Dhanishta (padas 3 and 4), Shatabhisha (all four padas) and Purva Bhadrapada (padas 1, 2 and 3), whose lords are Mars, Rahu and Jupiter; Saturn rules none of them. Opposite, across the chart, the 12th holds Leo, ruled by the Sun.
Where Saturn Is Strong and Weak, as Houses of Virgo Ascendant
Counted from Virgo, Saturn is exalted in the 2nd, debilitated in the 8th, and in its own sign in the 5th and the 6th. Exaltation and debilitation are always six signs apart, so for Virgo ascendant the 6th lord’s best and worst houses face each other across the chart.

Saturn Through the 6th and Its Exaltation House, 2026–2028
Saturn does not reach Aquarius, the 6th house of Virgo ascendant, between 2026 and 2028. It does not reach Libra, its exaltation sign and the 2nd house of Virgo ascendant, in those years.
