Mercury in Aquarius is in a neutral sign. Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, and Mercury counts Saturn neutral.

• 3 February 2026 to 11 April 2026 — 67 days, after which Mercury moves on to Pisces.
• 28 January 2027 to 24 February 2027 — 27 days, after which Mercury moves on to Capricorn.
• 12 March 2027 to 5 April 2027 — 24 days, after which Mercury moves on to Pisces.

Dates rather than clock times, because that is what a placement question needs. The ingress instants are computed and are printed on the monthly readings, where they matter for choosing a day.

Mercury also combusts: within 14° of the Sun when direct, 12° when retrograde — and Mercury is never far from the Sun, so combustion is common. A combust Mercury in Aquarius is read as weakened whatever the dignity above says, which is the standard case where the textbook verdict and the actual sky disagree.
