• 26 September 2026 to 2 December 2026 — 67 days, after which Mercury moves on to Scorpio.
• 21 September 2027 to 21 October 2027 — 30 days, after which Mercury moves on to Virgo.
• 5 November 2027 to 26 November 2027 — 21 days, after which Mercury moves on to Scorpio.

Dates rather than clock times, because that is what a placement question needs. The ingress instants are computed and are printed on the monthly readings, where they matter for choosing a day.

Mercury also combusts: within 14° of the Sun when direct, 12° when retrograde — and Mercury is never far from the Sun, so combustion is common. A combust Mercury in Libra is read as weakened whatever the dignity above says, which is the standard case where the textbook verdict and the actual sky disagree.
