So the Moon shares Pisces with both an exaltation degree and a debilitation degree belonging to other grahas. Those visits are not equal, and the variation is real rather than rounding. The Moon’s longest stay in Pisces is 58h06m, beginning 20 August 2027; its shortest is 50h25m, beginning 15 April 2026 — a spread of 7h41m. The cause is the Moon’s elliptical orbit: it travels slowest near apogee and fastest near perigee, so a sign it crosses near apogee holds it well over two and a half days, and the same sign crossed near perigee barely two.

The Moon also combusts: within 12° of the Sun, which is why an Amavasya birth carries a weak Moon. A combust Moon in Pisces is read as weakened whatever the dignity above says, which is the standard case where the textbook verdict and the actual sky disagree.
