Guru Ki Drishti: Where Jupiter’s Aspect Falls, 2026-2028

Guru Ki Drishti (गुरु की दृष्टि): the 5th, 7th and 9th

In the entry for Jupiter, the site’s planet table lists three aspects, the 5th, 7th and 9th houses, and calls the set the trinal aspect. Drishti translates as sight, so guru ki drishti is literally “Jupiter’s sight”: the Jyotish name for the link between Jupiter’s sign and the signs at those three distances from it, counted with Jupiter’s own sign as the 1st.

The name “trinal” can be checked against the sign table. The 1st, 5th and 9th signs from any starting point always share an element: from Cancer, a water sign, the 5th is Scorpio and the 9th Pisces, both water as well. So two of Jupiter’s three aspects stay inside the element of its own sign, and the 7th, which never shares the element in any of the twelve cases, is the one that crosses to the opposite side. Weighting by exact degree, which some systems add, is not attempted here; the site’s tables count signs.

Jupiter Aspects Which Houses: Guru Ki Drishti 12 Bhav Me

Placed in each house in turn, Jupiter’s three aspects reach the houses in the next table. The right-hand column picks out the trikonas, the 1st, 5th and 9th in the house table’s classification, among the houses aspected.

The pattern is tidy. Jupiter in any trikona, the 1st, 5th and 9th, aspects the other two by its 5th and 9th. From the 3rd, 7th and 11th exactly one trikona is reached, by the 7th from the 3rd, the 7th, and the 11th respectively, which land on the 9th, 1st and 5th. From all six even-numbered houses Jupiter’s aspects miss the trikonas altogether. Houses, in other words, not verdicts: the table records geometry and leaves the reading of any one chart to its signs and lords.

Jupiter’s Signs and the Signs It Aspects, 2026-2028

Two retrograde reversals inside the table mean Jupiter covers five signs in nine stretches. The next change in the sky is the move into Leo on 31 October 2026, five days after this page’s publication date; from then the three aspects fall on Sagittarius, Aquarius and Aries. The returns to Cancer on 25 January 2027 and to Leo on 28 February 2028 are retrograde moves.

From 26 October 2026: Days Each Sign Is Aspected by Jupiter

This count looks forward rather than back. It runs from the publication day to the end of the ingress table, 798 days, and for each sign, whether you take it as Moon sign or as lagna, it adds up the days on which one of Jupiter’s aspects falls there.

Capricorn and Pisces lead with 407 days each, and they are among the four signs that receive the aspect by two different numbers as Jupiter shifts. The four signs Jupiter occupies in this window, Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Libra, receive no aspect from it at all: they are four neighbouring signs, and none of them is the 5th, 7th or 9th counted from another. Gemini is close to zero too: only the last 5 days of 2028, after Jupiter reaches Libra, bring its 9th there. Guru Ki Drishti Shani Par, and on Rahu and Ketu

Over the whole table, 2026 through 2028, Jupiter’s aspect reaches Saturn in 6 stretches, Rahu in 5 and Ketu in 1. The Rahu and Ketu rows, marked *, come from mean-node positions and are soft by up to a day.

Jupiter’s aspect is on Saturn as this page goes up: Jupiter in Cancer has had Saturn in Pisces, the 9th sign from it, since 2 June 2026, and that stretch closes with the Leo move on 31 October 2026. Four of the six stretches run by the 9th and two by the 7th, about 638 days in all. The reverse direction is far shorter. Saturn’s set has no 5th or 9th, and in this table it reaches Jupiter only by the 7th, on the 94 or so days when the two stand opposite.

Those opposite days are the only mutual aspect between the two in the table: 26 November 2027 to 23 February 2028, Jupiter in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces, and again from 26 December 2028, Jupiter in Libra and Saturn in Aries, a stretch the table cuts off at its end. The planet table classes Jupiter as benefic and Saturn as malefic. Those labels are used here as labels. This page reports only where Jupiter’s aspect falls, for how many days, and what the texts call the aspect and the houses it reaches. It does not say that an aspect from Jupiter improves, eases or offsets anything in a chart, yours or anyone else’s, and it offers no forecast for the coming months; those are judgements made, by the astrologers who make them, on a whole chart.
