Jupiter in the 7th House

Jupiter, a benefic graha signifying children, teachers and gurus, higher learning, dharma, wealth, and the husband in a woman's chart, placed in the bhava of marriage, life partner, business partnerships, public dealings, contracts, open enemies — that pairing is the whole of what Jupiter in the 7th house means before a chart is opened. It is a closer fit than most: the 7th house counts Jupiter among its own natural significators, the karaka it is read through for the husband in a woman's chart. A significator sitting in the bhava it signifies is read more literally than any other placement, because the graha and the house are asking the same question.

Under Kaal Purush the 7th Is Libra

In the natural chart the 7th house is Libra, so Jupiter here is in an enemy's sign. The bhava answers to Venus, and the two do not read each other the same way: Jupiter counts Venus an enemy, while Venus counts Jupiter neutral — so whichever of the two is the stronger in a given chart changes what the 7th delivers on spouse / partner, not merely how much of it arrives. Jupiter occupies only 4 rashis across 2026–2027, so Jupiter transits the 7th house for only 4 of the twelve ascendants in that whole period — Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces lagnas.
