The 4th Lord for Aquarius Ascendant: Venus
4th house = Taurus · lord Venus · also lord of the 9th
With Aquarius rising, the 4th house is Taurus, the 4th sign counted from Aquarius, and Taurus is ruled by Venus. So for Aquarius ascendant the 4th lord is Venus, which also rules the 9th through Libra: one graha holds the 4th and the 9th together for this ascendant. The 4th is a kendra, and the 9th a trikona. That pairing puts a kendra and a trikona other than the 1st in one graha’s hands for Aquarius ascendant.
The lagna lord, Saturn, and the 4th lord, Venus, count each other a friend for Aquarius ascendant. The 4th’s matters are mother's influence, home and property, inner contentment and vehicles; with Aquarius rising they sit in Taurus, a fixed earth sign that is the 2nd of the natural zodiac.
Taurus as the 4th House of Aquarius Ascendant
Taurus exalts the Moon, deepest at 3°, so for Aquarius ascendant the Moon is exalted in the 4th, and it debilitates none. Opposite, across the chart, the 10th holds Scorpio, ruled by Mars.
