The 10th Lord for Aries Ascendant: Saturn
10th house = Capricorn · lord Saturn · also lord of the 11th
With Aries rising, the 10th house is Capricorn, the 10th sign counted from Aries, and Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. So for Aries ascendant the 10th lord is Saturn, which also rules the 11th through Aquarius: one graha holds the 10th and the 11th together for this ascendant. The 10th is a kendra and an upachaya, and the 11th an upachaya.
The lagna lord, Mars, counts Saturn neutral, while Saturn counts Mars an enemy: for Aries ascendant the 1st and 10th lords do not see each other the same way. The 10th’s matters are career and profession, public reputation, authority and achievements; with Aries rising they sit in Capricorn, a movable earth sign that is also the 10th of the natural zodiac.
Capricorn as the 10th House of Aries Ascendant
Capricorn exalts Mars, deepest at 28°, so for Aries ascendant Mars is exalted in the 10th; it debilitates Jupiter at 5°, so Jupiter is debilitated in the 10th. The house holds Uttara Ashadha (padas 2, 3 and 4), Shravana (all four padas) and Dhanishta (padas 1 and 2), whose lords are the Sun, the Moon and Mars; Saturn rules none of them. Opposite, across the chart, the 4th holds Cancer, ruled by the Moon.
Where Saturn Is Strong and Weak, as Houses of Aries Ascendant
Counted from Aries, Saturn is exalted in the 7th, debilitated in the 1st, and in its own sign in the 10th and the 11th. Exaltation and debilitation are always six signs apart, so for Aries ascendant the 10th lord’s best and worst houses face each other across the chart.

Each row links to the placement worked out for all twelve ascendants, where Aries is one line of twelve. None of this is a forecast for anyone born with Aries rising; where Saturn actually sits, its aspects and the running dasha decide what the 10th lord does in a chart.
Saturn Through the 10th and Its Exaltation House, 2026–2028
Saturn does not reach Capricorn, the 10th house of Aries ascendant, between 2026 and 2028. It does not reach Libra, its exaltation sign and the 7th house of Aries ascendant, in those years. The dates are days only. A transit is the sky, not a chart: it touches every Aries-rising chart’s 10th house at once.
