The 4th Lord for Scorpio Ascendant: Saturn
4th house = Aquarius · lord Saturn · also lord of the 3rd
With Scorpio rising, the 4th house is Aquarius, the 4th sign counted from Scorpio, and Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. So for Scorpio ascendant the 4th lord is Saturn, which also rules the 3rd through Capricorn: one graha holds the 4th and the 3rd together for this ascendant. The 4th is a kendra, and the 3rd an upachaya.
The lagna lord, Mars, counts Saturn neutral, while Saturn counts Mars an enemy: for Scorpio ascendant the 1st and 4th lords do not see each other the same way. The 4th’s matters are mother's influence, home and property, inner contentment and vehicles; with Scorpio rising they sit in Aquarius, a fixed air sign that is the 11th of the natural zodiac.
Aquarius as the 4th House of Scorpio Ascendant
Aquarius exalts no graha in signs.js, so no graha is exalted in the 4th for Scorpio ascendant, and it debilitates none. Opposite, across the chart, the 10th holds Leo, ruled by the Sun.
